We decided to have it couriered from the terminal to the customer, since we are located in southern Ohio. Being that I called at 12pm and needed to have it delivered by 3pm. Jason moved land and sea to get his driver to pick up and deliver our shipment on time to a location 79 miles away. Jason and his team were timely, professional and kept us updated at all times. The person who was supposed to come to my house told me to have 2 photo IDs ready AND a voided check from my bank account so they could provide it to the lender. I found this odd as I have done remote closings in the past and this was never required. The attorney handling the closing already had my information to wire the money to me. So I called my attorney and was informed that I was correct to be suspicious as this is NOT information the notary needs access to and the buyer's lender already HAD the information to wire my funds. There was also a BIG red flag in the text messages....the notary texted like a teenager. "Ur" for your, poor grammar and no knowledge of punctuation. Completely unprofessional. So, beware and do NOT give them any personal information other than the document and proof of who you are as that is ALL they need.
