While looking at it, Stephanie offered to get the body guy (Larry from TLM Auto Repair next door) to look at my front passenger door which hasn't opened since my car was hit a few years ago. Larry came over, fixed the passenger door in 20 seconds, and wouldn't let me pay him ("It only took a minute..."). Unbelievable. Then the mechanic from Knucklebusters took my car for a spin, and checked all the things that have to do with steering, and found nothing wrong. He also didn't charge me ("I didn't find anything to fix..."). When was the last time I walked out of an auto repair place paying nothing? (I'll give you a hint, it's never...). These people are honest and seem to really enjoy helping people. I think if you have had bad experiences at other places, you should come here and enjoy being helped by this shop. The Zerk fitting was pointed into the tire and there was no way to connect a grease gun to get lubricant into the joint. Plus there were a few other things that needed attention. So I had the front end reworked. Now it doesn't make a sound. No more grinding or squeaking. They have the equipment to align the front end so that's all correct after all the work. All of this took almost all day. I had the truck there at 8am when they opened and they called about 3:30 in the afternoon to say it was ready. I would highly recommend "Bill's Motor Works". It is a highly competent staff. Beats the dealer hands down. I was pleasantly surprised when they presented me with the initial estimate. For all the work that was needed I expected a hefty price tag. Not so! Bill's is very affordable and that is a nice thing to find when today's prices are getting a little out of control. Will I be back? I've already called, YESTERDAY.... I asked "so do you folks do tires"? yes they can. So I'm getting tires shipped to them and they will mount them for me. Yeah, I'm not happy with the local tire companies either.
