It is new, modern, fresh and there are actually books in here (seriously a lot of the Barnes & Nobles have moved more in the toy direction). Well there are still a good amount of games, collectors items, etc. but it really is a true book store. I was surprised by the amount of manga they had in stock two dedicated sections. They even had a lot of hard to find ghibli merchandise. There's also a really nice cafe inside. We will definitely be back!

Even though the shoes didn't ring up with the price on the box, she make the adjustment without any issues. In addition, she was savvy enough to know how to make split a credit card payment when using one of those annoying Visa gift cards and a regular credit card. Usually when those two issues occur, you get stuck in line forever - but with her it was a breeze!

On a whim, I decided to head out and check out the new store. I purposely left my debit card at home and went *shopping* with my iPhone camera. I conveniently parked in the onsite parking lot and went in. I immediately noticed that the store feels a bit sparse and airy, but it's probably because everything is nicely organized and well curated. Off to the right you'll find a nice selection of handbags and a somewhat hidden checkout counter. You'll find name brand sunglasses, and a nice selection of workout clothes (don't miss the 70% off rack). Like any outlet store, you can be expected to to spend some time browsing the sale racks. But it's worth it, because I spotted a great blazer I would come back and purchase to wear with jeans. The coat selection is great. Though I don't want to think about coat shopping, this would be a good time to do it before the men's and women's coats are picked over. There is a men's section in the back. On to the shoes. If you're a woman size 8-8.5, I found that size to have the most variety. They have newer shoes, only slightly discounted, mixed with sale shoes. There is a pretty good variety here, nonetheless, so if you aren't in a hurry and know where to get stuff, you'll be good to go!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much more spacious and well-organized and clean this felt by comparison. They also have some higher end products that Rack doesn't sell in store, which is a perk for folks looking for those items. My return process was painless/the sales associate was efficient. I'll be back in a few days to do more returns because I have more things coming that I'll need to return, so I'm glad it was an easy experience today.

The first note from the manager was- that's about of stuff--- well if you don't want that much, then limit it on your website. A nice way to put it would have been to say "thank you, but we may have to make another appointment". I'm a recently retired physician and have many nice work shoes and clothing items that were never worn, especially during COVID, and would have liked to consign so others could enjoy. It isn't worth the hassle factor. Just donate straight away.

Then I went to a couple sidewalk sales where things were crazy reasonably priced and in excellent condition. The woman who owns the shop is very particular about what she takes in and a lot of her stuff is either brand new or in excellent used condition. High end designer fashion which is why the prices are higher. I love a business run by a woman; I wish I could give her five stars but this is not a shop like going to Goodwill. College students and people who don't have a fairly nice income will probably not find a lot in their price range here. If you are a designer lover this is the place for you.
