I found her on YELP, she had great reviews... so I thought I'd give her go, and so glad I did! Marchelle really got to know me and my hair likes/dislikes, she took her time evening out/reshaping my strands into a great style! Marchelle is extremely detail oriented, it's evident she takes pride in her work and truly has a passion for this career! I know to some a cut is a cut... but to me it's art. I went from below shoulder length hair to very short pixie cut with blue streaks. Most hair stylists try to talk me out of going so short but once Mikki realized I had gone that short before, she made some great suggestions to make my cut even better. I also had color added, and Mikki made some great suggestions as well! Not only did the haircut and color take about 2 hours (a lot less than other places I've been too) but it was also easy to have my 16 week old baby with me. Her online appointment making was very easy to use and I felt the comment section at the end was very helpful for me to let her know I wanted a funky color. When I showed up, Mikki had added blue streaks to her own hair and that made me feel even more confident in my choice. Her location is close to me, which is a huge plus, and she works efficiently without ever making you feel rushed. I like to get in and out, and she delivered--while still giving me a thorough wash, protein treatment, silk press, and trim. What I appreciated most is that she listened to how I felt about my hair and what I wanted, then actually followed through instead of just doing her own thing. Trying a new stylist can be nerve-wracking, but she put me at ease right away. She's friendly without being overly chatty, professional, and her space is clean, organized, and welcoming. I agreed because she seemed genuinely remorseful. I showed up on the agreed 8am the next day with no one to let me in. I called multiple times and they all went to voicemail. Texted with no response. I waited 45 minutes, no call nor text back. I drove an hour round trip for both days without getting my hair done. Wasted my gas and my precious time. I am so disappointed to be treated this way as a new customer. If you don't need new customers then say so.

She finally convinced me to try a Remy brand in a teal package (can't think of the name) that was bout $80 a bag! And, the hair really does last 3 months and more and looks just as good as the first day! I've also had her sew Freetress which is a lower price synthetic hair in a curly texture which I loved! I don't mind getting my hair done monthly, which is the only downside with the lower quality hair - it doesn't last long! Her prices run $100 per style for mobile service! She is the best in Indy by far! Easy to schedule, reasonably price and able to duplicate styles you show her with effortlessly! Check out her website, she has great before and after pics!
