Life can be so much more simpler with few of these pieces. They also offer designer services. Wendy helped us design a space, she was very thorough with the questions she asked. We chatted about every detail that mattered. She showed us different designs, explained why she'd recommend each. It's funny how some of us only read reviews AFTER we have problems with a company. I recently…read moreacquired my medical marijuana processors license and renovated a building in my little town. I went to Ira for a deal on used appliances, and boy did he have plenty. I purchased almost $12,000 in equipment. I had to rent a Uhaul to get them home, so no delivery service. But we got the appliances to my building about 3-4 months before construction was complete. Ira understand that and offered to extend my warranty until I could try the appliances. Immediately we knew everything had problems. The commercial fridge, 2 door, the right door never closed. It didn't hang right, it leaked, but the seal on the right side was shredded and not for the correct door. Actually, I don't think the door was the correct door. Ira sent Junior out to fix it but he just poked the seal into a much too small door and went on his way. I didn't use the fridge much so I learned to live with it. 6 months later, the entire fridge dies. Okay, it was used, but it was $2000! And he has like 20 to choose from. He could have easily, at minimal expense, sent someone to look at this, but he refused. Meanwhile, I hired a local repairman who shows me how this has been rigged to appear to run well. Something inside had been rigged and it shorted out. The 10 burner, double oven, neither of the ovens work. Never have. Not his problem. Nine of the ten burners work. The convention oven, the door won't close properly, making the temperature spike often and requires being monitored externally. Not his problem. So this is what I got, plus a mixer that I'm afraid to even plunge in, a sink, 6 foot stainless table and a couple bowls. So, if you are REALLY planning on doing business for only 30 days, this is your man. However, if your dreams extend months and months into the future and you need appliances you can count on, RUN! I could have purchased everything new thru Costco at the same price WITH a warranty, NEW. I wished I had looked into this business.

Their work completely exceeded our expectations and the contractors on site were fantastic. We are elated with the results. Neil is an absolutely great carpenter. He is a perfectionist and he will spend whatever time he needs to ensure the job is worthy of EK&B's reputation. Scott was very reliable, we never had to worry if he or the other contractors were going to show up, and he always does a professional job. We were very pleased with his work and his approach. Robert was also great. He oversaw much of the onsite construction and checked regularly to see if we had any questions or concerns. As for Brenda and Megan, well what can we say except that they are the creative keys to a successful project. They helped us every step of the way, offering ideas for our kitchen that we would have never thought to do. They asked the right questions and helped lead us to great choices, much beyond the scope of our original expectations for the remodel. And they provided much more than creativity. Their attention to detail was evident at every meeting and in the Project notebook they created. Everything they do demonstrates true professionalism. We prepared for the final walkthrough by going over the work several times to see what was needed. We only found a few items, which were expeditiously corrected. But when Brenda did the final walkthrough, she added a couple items that we did not notice. She then had these promptly corrected. This is as good an indication of their insistence that the job be of absolutely perfect quality as any praise we can offer. If you want a fantastic job done, you need look no further than EK&B. But the proof of our satisfaction is that we will be contracting with them to remodel our utility room and bathrooms.
