Since Agave and Lime is known for its bowls, I had to get one. I had the owners build one for me. It consisted of cilantro lime rice, adobo chicken, black beans, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, roasted corn, salsa roja, and truck sauce. The contents were as balanced as they could be, and the salsa roja and truck sauce complemented each other well. I also got the baja shrimp tacos. These tacos were flavorful, and more importantly, stuffed! The diced mangos were also a nice touch. My favorite part of the meal though was the cantina nachos. Similar to the bowl, the contents were well balanced, and all the right flavors were present. The nachos alone can easily feed a small group. If you look at breweries' food truck schedules prior to going like I do, be on the look out for Agave and Lime!

I also grabbed a 4 pack of garlic naan bread from the freezer section. The bananas were delicious and my kids requested them many times after. The garlic naan is perfect fried in a pan with a little butter. Can't say that I would buy much more than these 2 items from this store, as I wasn't familiar with anything else. It's a tiny store, and the older man watching tv, who rang me up was quiet but polite. I'll return for naan and baby bananas.

The other two items I purchased that I highly recommend are the frozen Garlic Naan bread and the frozen Channa Dal mini Samosas - both by the Deep Indian Gourmet brand. The man in the store recommended I deep fry the samosas but I baked them since I didn't feel like busting out the deep fryer and they were very yummy! Full of flavor and spice. The store had lots of spices, unique fresh produce (that actually looked fresh), several frozen items like Naan bread, samosas, etc. He even had homemade samosas for sale at the register for 0.79 a piece. They were pretty good but a tad bit bland, good amount of spice though. If you live in the Macomb Township area like me then I believe this is the closest Indian grocery store, but regardless of that it's a nice little store and I will be sure to return!

The shop itself sells mainly dry goods (beans, rice, dehydrated items, etc.) with questionable expiration dates as some of the labels were quite yellowed and lids/packaging dusty. The women all working there were otherwise so nice and wonderful to chat with however and the sandwich was fantastic! Highly recommend to go for the deli and if you need a dry good this may be your spot. They also have punch cards where your 10th sandwich will be free!
