So many things to do here and came before and after Disney on ice. Our son loved the market and cafe that he spent most time here. Afterwards, he did some of the other exhibits nearby. Nice that museum had its own parking lot instead of street parking. Also, all bathrooms have changing tables which was nice. Seating for eating was limited but worked. Overall, it's worth a stop over for your little ones to enjoy.

It was going to be expensive with five children and five adults, but I thought Gigi could splurge this once. I was so thankful that at the last minute my husband and three older sons (25, 15 & 13) decided to play golf instead. They would have been bored out of their minds! The girls (9 and 11) had a great time. I did not like the fact that my daughter-in-law, my 20 year old daughter, and I had to pay so much to in reality sit and watch the girls play. If I knew the environment, I would have taken the girls alone and let the other two go out, but hindsight is 20/20. So, in conclusion, take the kids - boys and girls- up to ages 13, and only pay for one adult to sit and supervise! Anything else is a waste of money!

My parents came in to give her presents. Attendee said we could not open presents unless we paid for a room. I thought it was not smart for a business, but oh well. Parent(s)/guardian(s) are there to keep an eye on their children & attendees are there to watch the bounce houses. One of the bounce houses came unplugged, I was told that was common. The attendant did not notice because she was too busy on computer. I saw it slowly deflating, so I brought it to her attention. Meanwhile, I told all of the children to get out of the delated house. There was about 10 in it. Ive witnessed a bounce house deflate at a company party and it traumatized the children. I was only looking out for the other children. The attendees plugged it in and the fun continued. I was having a personal conversation with my mom about how the bounce house coming unplugged reminded me of the incident at the company party. The attendant interrupted our conversation talking about what had happened earlier. I explained to her that it was none of her business what we were talking about. She continued to interject OUR conversation. I told her to get out of our faces. She told me I had to leave, and threatened calling the police. Needless to say, she ruined that part of my daughters birthday. She handled herself in a very inappropriate way. Very immature, abused "power". She called the owner, the owner did absolutely nothing about it! I will NEVER GO TO PLAY ALL DAY AGAIN! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I think they have thought of every detail, including a mother's room, awesome work spaces for parents, snacks available to purchase, and free (good quality) coffee for parents. There are so many cool things for kids to play with: costumes, sensory activities, books, magnatiles, etc. I like that they have a maximum number of kids per session, so it doesn't get too crowded or unsafe. They also leave time between sessions to thoroughly clean. I am so impressed by Playful Pines, and I've recommended it many times since my visit.

I mention that to emphasize: this was our FAVORITE one. Ages of our kiddos - 6, 5, 1. It had something for all three of them to enjoy, but the environment for the parents was the WINNING spectacle for me. You shouldn't expect this to be a spontaneous drop-in, because they do abide by 2-hour play sessions, booked ahead of time... but it is so worth it. The 'crowd' was so manageable - way less chaotic and loud and rambunctious and overstuffed than another play cafe in town. The noises are buffered well by all the soft surfaces, and they had little nursing corners for new mamas and plenty of space for parents to sit and work/chat outside the play space, and IN it if you wanted. The thing that REALLY sold me here was the staff and hospitality. An hour into the play time, one of the young women running the desk actually joined the bigger kids and played alongside them. At some point, a kid fell and bumped his head, and she immediately went and grabbed an ice pack without prompting. They also have a stash of wipes/pull ups/diapers/cream etc just in case you run out while you're on site. Now that is just plain genius. We will happily return. Job well done!
