The final product looks as if it was professionally done, yet takes a minimal amount of time to do a small area. Even block walls of the Basalite line of modular blocks are held together with hidden pins that are engineered to exceed building code specs. Standard block and stepping stores are available, too, some that are held with only sand in place, others that are joined with mortar. Lots of options to choose from. By 0800, the gear was unloaded and the team was in full-on work mode. I do a lot of DIY jobs with crews. After a half hour, a huge worry burden was lifted off my shoulders. This has never happened to me before. I had a very large brick wall repair job. Luis and his team were a well-oiled machine. Each knew their job (all experts), and the work hummed along--busy, busy, busy. Literally no screwing around or fun time. I was unconditionally amazed and thankful. The job was completed earlier than expected, and not only were no shortcuts taken, they did more than we agreed upon. All debris was picked up and put in the trash. The area was washed down. The cleanup job was impeccable. You would have never known they were there, except for the beautiful work they left behind. Lastly, I took five bids.
