She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and is able to answer all my financial questions and concerns. Banks are always hard to trust but Sophia always eases my mind . I was able to save more money than I anticipated for my kids college education and always thankful for her helping to map that out . I only come here in person 1-2x a year and definitely make a point to go during off hours. I like how they have an ATM within the branch, security at the door and generally service has been great here. The policies and queues are questionable!

The purpose of my visit to this branch at the Southshore Shopping Center in Alameda was to use the ATM for a cash withdrawal. It is conveniently located for me to take care some business instead of going to other branches of Wells Fargo. The ATM's are located slightly to the right of their double door entrance. There is plenty of parking in front of the bank and nearby. This bank seems always busy during business hours with customers waiting in line to enter the bank. Thus, I rather use the ATM for my transaction during the day/early evening. Besides I don't have to be a drama queen and/or a pita (pain in the a**) standing outside the bank about to scream when my sciatica flares up. Easy peasy to exit vehicle, use ATM, get my cash, get in vehicle and go home. LOL

After discussion with my classmate yesterday, he told me to go ahead and get reimbursed. I stopped at this branch to get reimbursed via a cashier's check. Wow! Wells Fargo employee told me there would be a $10 fee for the cashier's check. One would think a senior citizen who is a bank customer with a checking account would not be charged a fee. I paid the $10 out of my pocket. This is what I called greed, highway robbery, a rip off of bank customers. There's a reason why I don't deal with banks such as Bank of America, Chase, WELLS FARGO, etc. I'm glad my credit union does not charge me a fee for a cashier's check.

Jason, did not contact me until 30 minutes before my appointment at 4 to inform me that the notary service wasn't available. I did not see the phone call until I arrived in person. He gleefully shared that the branch doesnt offer the service. It was very unprofessional on their behalf and inconveniencing for me. When I bought my house in Alameda I went to Chase, South Shore, because I was coming from LV and had had a real good experience with Chase there (see my yelp review of South Shore Chase). Recently we went to US Bank, seeking a better experience, and WE FOUND IT! Daniel Chan, Client Relationship Consultant, welcomed us and set us up quickly with joint checking and savings accounts. Daniel set us up with debit cards AND credit cards. The next week we met with Daniel to set up transfers to other banks. We are very pleased with our experience at US Bank, and it is in a more safe location that Chase South Shore. We also feel that we are better served at US Bank than were we at Chase, I am sorry to have to say.
