Before browsing the store, I ordered a chicken, bacon, provolone and ranch dressing crepe from the creperie station. This was a first-time experience for me. The hefty crepe was ordered to-go. Thirty minutes later, upon arrival home, not only did the creation look and smell scrumptious, the taste and textures were out of this world! It is now impossible for me to stop at this delightful shop without ordering a crepe for take-out or dine in. Emma's entire operation, including dining areas, is neat as a pin and immaculately clean.

Even ordering through the website is super easy. They are very attentive & are wonderful at communication. Obviously, they specialize in tasty gourmet popcorn. There's even a sample area where you can try some flavors. The flavor options are endless... like you will be overwhelmed trying to pick. There is a sampler option so you can try a little of every flavor. They have little Sundae Cups & varied party tray sizes that would be such a lovely hostess gift or a special something to add to a buffet style gathering. They would even be such a wonderful dessert to take to a gathering. Gourmet flavors & something unique that all will enjoy together. There are tons of other treats throughout to purchase as well: pretzels, donuts, biscotti, dips, various condiments... the list goes on. Anything would make such a good gift for any occasion. I have been bulk ordering from Emma's for years! I set up a teacher appreciation popcorn bar every May for my school. The staff get very excited as they absolutely love the flavor combos & the quality of the popcorn is superior. It's great to buy it in bulk & to be able to have it fit in any theme/display you have planned (I use large planters & sand shovels as scoops). This is the first time I have stepped foot in the actual retail space after ordering from them for over 10+ years. I am so glad I picked up the order this year & was able to see the retail space. She was there until the late 50's, had her five kids, and returned through the 70's and 80's. I always remember my Mom smelling like roasted nuts and carmelcorn when she came home from work. What should have been a normal, pleasant shopping moment instead felt like harassment. I want to be clear: I wasn't doing anything wrong. Looking at merchandise before making a purchase is a completely normal part of shopping, and being treated with suspicion for doing so is not acceptable. It's left a genuinely sour taste in my mouth about visiting this location again. I'll also note that when I asked, staff told me they don't make any candy in-store except for the popcorn.

Luckily, it's also an awesome shop with a great product. They serve what most folks call caramel corn - they instead refer to it as Toffee Popcorn. They could call it anything they want and I'd shell out money for it. Their toffee popcorn is absolutely delicious and somewhat unique to the category. Not the stuff you got giant bags of on the boardwalk as a kid. Much more depth of flavor, and a more refined product. Various mixed in ingredients include almonds, pistachios, white chocolate, etc, and my personal favorite CAYENNE Cashew! Go to MoJos and try the spicy popcorn, it's got great sweet and salty flavor upfront with a nice slow heat as you keep eating. Popcorn is available is various sizes and they often have some that is nice and warm! They also serve gelato, coffee, and other beverages. Gelato is currently sourced from a small artisan maker.
