I don't recall trying Popeyes at any other location. On the occasions that I dined here, it was an okay experience.
The food is decent, but it's not always fresh. I've had browning edge lettuce on my chicken sandwich. If you want pickles, specifically ask. It's also quite salty, but the quality of the meat itself is pretty good, and not stupidly smaller than the bun. Drinks are self-serve. The Coke Zero was not available. Refills are $0.85 - have never seen that before!
One visit I used a coupon which only showed a particular variety of sandwich. Turns out you have a choice of spicy or regular, grilled or breaded.
The service can be painfully slow, even though there's no drive-thru or any other indication of being heavily busy.
There isn't a lot of seating, just a couple of booths and the dreaded window with shelf and stools. There is wi-fi.
They have a few daily specials but I still find it slightly overpriced to go regularly. I'd go back on the rare occasion I'm really in the mood for it but otherwise I prefer to find a better value for what they offer. read more
