And like, they make it right in front of you and GET THIS- you can have them put WHATEVER YOU WANT ON IT! Like you just point to the ingredients and yell at the worked "gimme dem peppers!!" but don't ask for more olives, I'm pretty sure they are like, taxed on the amount of olives they give a way or are contractually obligated to give you a set amount. If you get more than 6 slices of olive (so like, 2 olives in total) consider yourself a winner. Because they are STINGY AF on the olive front, consider bringing your own can of black olives from the grocers round the corner if you're an olive fan and you shall be victorious, no matter the cost. Because winning at olives is important. We all know olives are the way. Otherwise, chillin in the parking lot shoving a full clown shoe of bread and lettuce into your gullet is about as exciting as Tuesdays get in this town, so chow the hell down. They have a full bar there, but you have to bring the vodka. They have plenty of mixer and cups though, like a great choice of both fountain booze mixer and can/bottle/juice vodka mixer.

We walked in and should've known. Under new management. No cars in the lot and no one in the restaurant at dinner time. I ordered a club sandwich which is pretty tough to mess up. Well they managed to do so. I asked for a side Caesar salad and ended up with garden lettuce tomatoes and Caesar dressing. The sandwich was cemented together with so much mayonnaise is literally was disgusting to eat. I will never be back. What a shame to lose such a great place as this. Not to mention while we try and digest the awful food the waitress sits glued to her phone playing candy crush. Feel free to hit up SUBWAY, you'd be doing yourself a favour. This is the bill for a coffee. A can of pop for 2.25. Fish and chips for 12.95 a special cheeseburger for 9.50 and a disgusting clubhouse with a ton of expired Mayo. Not even an inquiry as to the quality of the food at the end of the meal. Lastly please see my reference photo of the so called "dinner rush". Now if you'll excuse me I need to find a washroom.

I feel the divided wood paneling that separates the two sections of the restaurant is symbolic of the two types of food you might find there. There is a Western menu with burgers and pizza and a Chinese menu with stir fries and rice. The husband got the reuben sandwich and fries and I got the shrimp vegetable stir fry. I was surprised to get such a huge portion of rice and there wasn't an extra charge for it as many places do. The stir fry was a bit oily. A layer of oil remained in my dish at the end of my meal. It appears only two people work there, perhaps a husband a wife team. I so appreciate the hard work that they do as it reminds me of my immigrant parents doing the same when I was a child. The place seems stuck in time. There's an register at the front which she actually uses to ring up the check but there is a scanner for your credit card. Boxes of supplies are just sitting on the floor (mostly in the back). A stand alone fridge with drinks is also in the back. The wood paneling reminds me of the basement of the house that I grew up in. Sure it could use some updating but it's a small town. Maybe it's part of the charm.
