I suspect they did it on purpose to reflect their attitudes. According to the other reviews, there are often issues with the orders / food. So you are either going to get bad service or messed up food. So don't even bother with this place and take a chance, just pick another restaurant out of the plethora within the vicinity. It was 10:11 pm on a Friday night. They open til 1:00 am so I assumed there would be no problem getting fresh food. Two issues: First, the young girl that took the order (drive-thru) could not get the simple order right. Ordered 2 popcorn shrimp combos, one with 2 pc tenders. Had to repeat it several times and though she was very nice and courteous, she just couldn't get it together. Especially when trying to sort out our sides. Second, because of her inability to understand our order, we checked to everything was there before pulling off. This place needs management seminar for their employees. My wife and I recently visited this location and was incredibly disappointed by the rude and dismissive service we received. I had to change my order and the employee rolled eyes and gave attitude. He hasn't even given me my first order nor paid for it yet, but had to change order. Why the rude attitude? We even thank him 4 times and not a sigle interaction from the employee. They were not even busy. We were the only customers. We just thought maybe he's having a bad day. But after reading most of the reviews here, having received the same bad, rude service from employees, it just proves management needs to hire the right people that would actually like doing their job. Popeyes chicken sandwiches taste really good. I am unsure why they have low stars. The chicken tastes fresh and it is mostly meat and has a crispy outside. It comes with two slices of pickle that tastes like cucumber. I could do without that flavor of cucumber pickle, but otherwise a very solid sandwich. There is quite a bit of mayo when you open the sandwich. The bread had a buttery goodness to it. When I went the service was fast and I didn't have to wait long for my food. The restaurant was clean and not crowded. I would go back for more chicken sandwiches. They taste fresh and good. There was no onions or tomatoes or lettuce that came with the sandwich but k think most other places that sells the same also doesn't have these extras in their sandwiches either. Chick-fil-a (CFA) vs. Popeyes. Let's break it down: Chicken Sandwich... Winner: Popeyes A huge caveat here is that we're talking straight chicken sandwich comparison - the classic sandwich as it comes out, with no extra toppings (e.g. lettuce, tomato, multigrain bun). The Popeyes version is frankly better tasting and more filing than Chick-Fil-A. I recommend trying it, just maybe not this location (see below). With that said, the deluxe sandwich at CFA has more flavor variety, with bun and cheese options, which are advantages. Efficiency...Winner: Chick-fil-a Hands down, in comparison to CFA, this Popeyes really struggles with throughput. I think a key problem is that they don't seem to have a culture of working efficiently. You might think that's silly for a fast food restaurant to not be streamlined, but hear me out. You can tell from the layout and the personnel, that this location is used to working at lower volume. With the huge popularity of the new sandwich, this branch was never going to meet the expectations driven by the new customers, nor the competition of Chick-fil-a's well-oiled machine. Customer Service...Winner: Chick-fil-a Sadly, I think there are some employees at this location who are trying to do their job. But, as I waited in line for nearly 25 minutes, and then another 25 minutes in the queue waiting for my order, the staff really didn't care that people were starting to get upset. Knowing that efficiency isn't their thing, perhaps they can do better about engaging their customers and creating some positivity. I even noticed them going out of order when delivering food, and not in a way that made any logical sense. Overall, the sandwich is good. Try it out. Oh boy. Here we go. So my friend and I are running errands and we decide to go to this Popeye's because their mashed potatoes are sent directly from the heavens. This location, however, was absolutely the exception. We pull in and there's no one in front of us. We quickly decide what we want and order - the dude who took our order was very nice - and we pulled up to the window to pay. Again, all interactions were super positive and everyone was really nice. We were asked to pull forward, and this is where the ridiculousness starts. We're waiting for about ten minutes and we keep seeing people from the drive thru get their food and leave. Eventually, I decide to go inside because what gives?, right? So I go in. I'm immediately scowled at by the gal behind the counter. I tell her I was just in the drive thru and give my order: one chicken sandwich meal with Mac and cheese, one 4-pc chicken tender meal with mashed potatoes and a large sweet tea. I'm told "oh sorry, I'm getting it right now". A nice young man hands me my food and I leave to go home. When I get home, my friend and I divvy up the food and I notice there is something wrong with mine. I was given a 4-pc chicken meal - 3 thighs and a leg - instead of chicken tenders. (Side note: I have a textile thing about bone-in meat. I literally get nauseated and cannot eat it.) So my friend calls. She explains we were given wrong food and is told "we don't sell 4-pc chicken tender meals". So we replied with "why weren't we told it when we ordered? Why weren't we told when we went inside to pick up the food?" My friend was apologized to and they said they'd make it right if we came back. The issue is, they aren't close to where we are, they were just convenient because of where we were at the time. TL;DR: these mofos forgot about us and when we finally did receive our food, it was wrong and we were too far away to have it corrected. I never like to leave bad reviews because everyone can have an off day but the people that work at this Popeyes was just rude and didn't care about their job when I ordered my food the boy taking my order was annoyed that I even had the nerve want food, then cut me off before I was done ordering and told me to drive on through so when I pulled up, I obviously had to add stuff to my order and then from the inside someone was mad at that and I could hear him screaming to add it to your order before you pull up.
