Some of their employees customer service is horrible. They need to go back to training on proper etiquette. I have had 2 very bad experiences here they have done nothing to improve the situation. The first encounter I've had with them was when I had ordered some chicken wings and a four piece meal. They literally had me waiting almost 2 hours. No exaggeration literally almost 2 hours waiting no I'm sorry. No nothing. The second encounter was I have food missing from my order. The wait time was too long. I even called the store several times the lady was very rude on the phone. She never gave me her name never apologize about the order and she even hung up on me. Ordered on the app for a 10 piece family meal deal. Everything looked good, but got a message from DoorDash (in Spanish) at the time it was supposed to be delivered, telling me the order was cancelled because they were out of CHICKEN! I didn't know if I was being scammed by Popeyes or the DoorDash driver. Was told by the DoorDash driver to cancel the order with the restaurant. Tried to call the restaurant about 10 times and no one would answer the phone. Drove to the store and the restaurant door was locked (about 10 pm), the app states the dining room is open until midnight. Walked up to the drive-thru window and asked if the manager could come to the door. The girl said something, but I could not understand and I then saw a guy in a green shirt. I asked if that was that manager and pointed and she said something else that I could not understand. I pointed at the guy in the green shirt and asked him if he was the manager and he came over and asked - "why are you pointing at me?" I asked if he was the manager and he said he was and why was I pointing at him. I told him I wanted to make sure that I had the right person and he said "you didn't have to point at me!" I told him what I needed (a refund) because I did not receive my food and he kept on about the pointing. He eventually said that they were out of chicken! How does a Popeyes run out of chicken?!? Poor management is how. He then told me that I had to contact DoorDash to get a refund. So now I have each company telling that the other has to cancel the order. After I told him this was stupid (with some choice adjectives) - he threw his headset down and aggressively began stomping to come out the door. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I love Popeyes. It's not gourmet, but you know that. I'm actually a bigger fan of their seafood than I am their chicken, but their chicken is great. I especially love their blackened chicken tenders! They are more amazing than you probably think! They have a great flavor and are always fresh and juicy. They usually have to make them fresh to order because they aren't very popular for some reason. I am in love with their sides and biscuits. The biscuits are buttery and soft. Their sides are the perfect comfort food. I have had their Mac n cheese, green beans, fries, Cajun rice, rice and beans, and coleslaw, all of which were very good. They have a nice variety. I also really like their dipping sauces because they add their own special flair to them since they are supposed to be creole or whatever. On a side note: their po boys are pretty good. I like to get the blackened tenders in the po boy. The French bread is pretty good and crusty, not very heavy. Lastly, I love the staff at this location!!! The manager is always sooo friendly, and he is all about making the customer happy. His employees are always friendly too. Just today the girl at the cash register was very polite, sweet and genuine. I went to this location for two chicken sandwich meals. I waited in line not too long but once I got up too the speaker no one took my order. I waited for like 5 mins and I seen one on the workers was outside taking her break then I pulled up too the window just for them too tell me I have to go back around because nobody took my order. I guess they only had one person taking orders that night. So I went back around and had to wait again. they took my order and I waited more because some lady waited hella long for her order but once I pulled up they told me they don't have any chicken sandwiches So first they don't know how to take orders then they don't got workers And they ain't got food That's crazy and a waste of my time read more

Went today for lunch. Keep in mind, we are in the middle of a pandemic. Management does not require employees to wear a mask properly... everyone i saw in the building had a mask on their neck. I don't care what your believes are about the pandemic however you should want to make your customers feel safe. in our present times that means wear a mask (on your face) and give me the appearance that my food is not coming with a side of Corona.. i will not frequent restaurants which don't take my safety seriously... I purchased the 9.99 meal for two. On ordering I asked if I could have 2 breasts an 3 wings with rice and mac and cheese. I was told there was an upcharge for the mac and cheese which was ok. I was never told that the meal was a thigh and leg, was told they were out of wings so I asked if they could give 3 chicken tenders which they did. We do not eat dark meat chicken. Very unhappy. The thigh and leg were very small,didn't feel bad throwing it away. It was not stated on the coupon that it was for dark meat only. I have been to this location, waited to order mid afternoon, was told they were out of chicken one time and the next time the computer was down. Just a waste of time and money. I pulled into the drive through at 1:42 pm, ordered at 1:57 and didn't get my food until 2:27. They told me to pull up from the drive through to wait and then twenty minutes later a staff member came out and asked me why I was parked there. Popeyes wow!! We're so excited to have more coming to the tri-state area of Cincy & into suburbs of the city. I tried the one on Colerain avenue that just opened a few weeks ago. I can say it's still new and growing the food is hot upon arriving to you, but my sister noticed several pieces of hair in her chicken. She ordered a two piece meal and hair was in both pieces. She wasn't going to say anything because we knew it was a new restaurant. I encouraged her to do so, she spoke to the manager she was very nice and accessed the chicken situation she mentioned her staff has not been wearing their hair nets and that she would take the matter up with the staff. The manager refunded my sisters meal and gave both of us a store credit. I thought how noble of this establishment. Hats off to the Colerain Popeyes location, that's customer service. This restaurant will continue to improve its a great addition to the area. read more

I was in this establishment yesterday evening (6/6/2018) AROUND 6pm. I went in to order something to go. While I was waiting for my order I had the opportunity to witness the young lady working the drive through she had a headset on while she talked to the customers and filled their orders. She was so polite, helpful and efficient all at the same time. She really had everything under control working that kitchen like a pro. I don't know what her name was but she had long blondish hair. The manager who waited on me who was also so polite and I started to say something to him (hold on to her she is a keeper) but I didn't and wished that I had. The first time I went there a little after 12pm was told it would be a two hour wait for the new chicken sandwich I said that's fine. So after two hours I go back up there before I got to the speaker. I talk to a popeyes worker that just walk outside I ask was they still out the sandwich. He told me they will be serving them in the next few mins I said thanks for the info. So I get to the speaker now they saying 30 mins to a hour. I decided to go inside to talk to a manager when I get inside the cashier was nice. The lady working the window need home training she was saying if we dont got the sandwich get something else or leave. Then I talk to the manager I was asking for a rain check since I was getting the wrong info. So the girl I say because a lady or grown woman would not act like that. She was talking out of turn when I was trying to talk to the manager. She disrespected my car, my clothes, and she call me ugly. She told me to shut up and said I was a bum and also said they was not going to make my sandwich. She did all this in the manager face she did not handle the situation at all. the last thing the worker walk past me and look me up and down with a nasty look.
