We were on a road trip and were very hungry so we decided to go to Popeyes. FIRST, when we got to the Popeyes the employees were mean and then when we got our Popeyes chicken sandwich (took forever) the chicken looked raw and undercooked. My mom's sandwich was very tiny and smelt funny. The restaurant was not that dirty but there was wrappers to straws and food on every seat. I saw some workers smoking outside and came inside and I don't think they washed their hands. Would not recommend. read more

Traveling through Canton MS, my friends and I stopped at a Popeyes to get some food. It was the worst fast food experience of my life. The woman taking our order was extremely rude to all the girls in my car. She would get mad as we would keep continuing to order food. Been coming to eat at this location and the food has been exceptional. Chicken has been freshly cooked and can't say enough about the red beans and rice. This location can be busy during lunch hours like any other restaurant but the staff (the ladies in here) have been friendly. Hint the reason why I keep coming back. This Popeyes location is as slow as snails. They never take orders from the drive thru intercom choosing to take them at the window. The machine works. They will just tell people to pull around. They cheat on portion sizes as well and lie to people like Cajun rice has been discontinued when it's still sold at other Popeyes locations. It's poorly run. Popeyes needs to monitor it's franchisees more closely because some of them will run the business into the ground. read more

We have given this place beyond loyal patronage every week for a year and we are done. From the rude slacker boi at the window to the 20-40 minute wait to the 12 pcs with 4 wings 3 legs 3 thighs and 2 breasts to the dry grayish meat on most of it to the neverending lack of food in stock it's just a lost cause. The absolute WORST fast food experience I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Wait almost 10 minutes at the drive through waiting to order only to be told to pull up (which I couldn't since there was already other customers pulled up) then they got snarky and told me to put into the first parking spot. After waiting around the 30 minute mark, I decided to walk in where I was then given nasty looks from employees for bringing up the fact I had been waiting so long, only to find out they didn't even have any spicy tenders made (my order was three spicy tenders and fries) and they also had no fries which they could've easily told me at the window. I continued to get nasty looks while I waited for them to finally start cooking my food. After another 15 minutes I was handed my food without a single "sorry for your wait" or anything of the sort. And no it wasn't from lack of employees there were atleast 6 workers and not enough customers for it to take that long. Absolutely pathetic work ethic and attitudes. The food is always correct and good. The attitude and service need a lot of improvement. I never get a polite greeting and when using the drive through I get the same lack of care, not to mention never a total. They need serious help with customer service. read more

The worst customer service I have ever received by any business. We came in here on March 18th, after a long drive from New Orleans. We were headed to Memphis and decided to stop here. The employees who served us that day, made it very clear we were not welcome in that establishment. They purposely spoke to us in a mumbled tone, with their head down. It made it very hard for us to understand. We were from out of state and had to ask several times to repeat. It got to the point where we were looked at up and down by the employee. Shrugs and sheer annoyance were visible on her face. She did not smile once. It was completely uncomfortable and unnecessary. We were just 3 gals pulling in to get something to eat. We were the wrong color and it was clearly the reason for the way we were treated. The food sucked too. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

I waited in line for 12 minutes.... and there was not one single other car in front of me in line, before they even took my order. As soon as i finished ordering, an employee starting waving out of the drive through window not to pull forward, at this point there's 3 vehicles behind me. When i was finally allowed to pull around to the window, i was told they were going on break and were not taking anymore orders so they needed me to hold up the line. Worst experience ever! This location is absolutely horrible. The employees are rude & disrespectful! I've never felt so uncomfortable. They were more worried about engaging with the locals who were hanging out in the parking lot than taking care of their customers. Totally thumbs down & wish I could give a negative star. dont get me wrong, popeyes food is good. this review is for this location. was told they no longer sold the special that i just saw on tv and was on the website. also told it would be 30 min. for any type of chicken. so ended up spending 15$ for a hand full of shrimp. had to go out an hour later to buy something else to eat somewhere else. this location would be a great place to put a chicken resterant. read more
