This is honestly a nice spot overall. Right when you walk in, the interior stands out, it's open,…read morespacious, and has lots of seating. The walls have bright paintings everywhere, which adds a fun touch, and the whole place feels really clean, organized, and well kept. Even though it was packed when I went, everything still felt under control and not chaotic at all. The service was really efficient, especially considering how busy it was. The staff moved quickly, orders came out at a good pace, and everything was handled smoothly. As for the food, I got the one tender and one slider meal. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it fully lives up to the hype, especially considering how much amazing food we have in the GTA. Still, it was definitely decent. The tenders were crispy and well seasoned, and the fries were great. I love crinkle-cut fries, so those were a win for me, super crunchy and cooked well. The slider had the same seasoning as the tender and was still really tasty. I loved the addition of the pickles and coleslaw, they balanced everything out nicely. Their sauce was fine, but nothing crazy. I'd compare it to Chick fil A's sauce, just a bit less tangy. One thing I really liked was how the food was served. The big boxes look nice, everything is organized, and it honestly feels a little fancy, which I appreciated. Pricewise, I do think it's overpriced for what you get. I paid around $22 for the meal and it didn't even come with a drink, which felt a bit steep considering the portion size. That said, the quality is definitely top tier, you can tell they use good ingredients. Overall, it's not bad at all. I'd come back, but it's not something I heavily crave. For me, it's around a 7.5/10.

I went with the Dave's number 3 and was able to upgrade my fries to Mac and cheese for $2.99 extra. The food I will say was a miss. Bland and unflavoured considering how expensive it was. This was a fail in my book. The Mac & cheese tasted almost as if it came out of a box. My girlfriend had gotten fries with her meal and they weren't salted at all. The Texas toast or square bread that comes with the meal was soggy from the chicken resting in it and the list kind of goes on. The only positive I have was the sauce if I'm being honest. Together for two Dave's #3, two drinks and upgraded fries, we spent $55 bucks. Would I say it was worth it, absolutely not. I've been to a lot of other chicken spots in the GTA as well as America and they pass Dave's by a lot. I will say the inside seating area was the highlight for me as I think it's cool how they incorporated Brampton to the drawing.

It is similar to most burrito and rice bowls you can find anywhere, in that you pick and choose what you want and they make it fresh. My meal was good: I had a crispy chicken bowl, but there were a couple of minor bumps along the way. They offered black or brown beans but told me that they were both refried beans. I happened to pick black and they gave me brown refried instead. Oh well. The chicken were tiny chicken nuggets instead of cut up chicken strips: not bad, but not exactly what I was thinking of. I ordered a side beef empanada and it was better than what I expected. The outside was fried and not dried at all like the ones I get in the States, and the filling was moist (like stew) and not crumbly like ground beef). In all, not a bad place to go if you want cheap, semi-fresh and somewhat healthy options.

Solid lunchtime option in the Queen/Airport area (meaning: try to arrive early). Provides a variety…read moreof reasonably healthy options. I had the small Spring Fever wrap, which features grilled chicken, goat cheese, fresh berries, spring mix, and balsamic dressing. Quite the unique combo for a fast food wraps chain, and really stood out from the chicken souvlakis and buffalo chickens of the menu. I really liked the combination. I'm a sucker for anything with goat cheese, so it would've been pretty hard for them to mess this up. The blueberries and strawberries added a fresh sweetness that was a welcome addition to this savoury wrap. The grilled chicken wasn't anything impressive, but it provided the necessary protein to make the wrap work. Unfortunately, this was a seasonal wrap and is likely to be phased out as we enter the summer. The other menu options don't seem to be as inspired, but I won't judge 'em 'til I try 'em. Cost was $7 pretax
