Title: Poor Communication, Lack of Responsiveness, and Unprofessional Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at South Lake Counseling, particularly regarding communications with therapist Alexia Manning and office manager Jessica Alvarez. I have been requesting a copy of my therapy session notes, which I am legally entitled to receive as part of my medical record. Despite multiple emails and calls explaining that the request was TIME SENSITIVE, I received no clear follow-up, no timeline, and no sense of urgency. I also reached out to the office manager, Jessica Alvarez, and received no response at all, which was very frustrating. To be clear, I was not asking for forms to be completed or changes to diagnoses -- only for my existing records. As a patient, delays in accessing my own medical documentation are extremely stressful and concerning. It also made me feel ignored and unimportant as a client. While my in-session interactions with Alexia were polite, the lack of follow-through has been unacceptable. South Lake Counseling has shown poor responsiveness, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism in handling a very basic and reasonable request. I hope the practice improves its administrative processes and communication, so future clients do not have to go through this.

Review for Christine…read more Christine is one of those rare, beautiful souls who carries both faith and strength so naturally that you feel it the moment you're in her presence. She is confident, compassionate, and deeply rooted in purpose. What I love most about Christine is that she doesn't just coach--she lives the advice she gives. Her words come from experience, conviction, and love. I know this firsthand. She doesn't show up just to collect a check. She shows up to change lives. She listens with her heart, speaks truth with boldness, and offers wisdom that's wrapped in care. So much so that there have been moments when I've had to say, "Can I talk to my friend, not the coach?" because she's just that committed to her calling. Christine loves what she does, and it shows. But even more than being a powerful coach, she's a remarkable friend. I am incredibly blessed to know her, to walk alongside her, and to call her my sister in both faith and friendship. If you have the chance to work with her, do it. If you have the honor of calling her a friend, treasure it. I know I do!
