I absolutely love popcorn and will drive to Destin to get the gourmet kind. We went on a whim last week and decided to try this place out. I had no idea this place existed until we drove by it (I'm usually not on this side of town). Walking in, the store is super clean, bright, and the popcorn is tightly sealed in the big container bins. There were so many flavors to choose from!! The serving bags range in Small to Xtra Large sizes. You can mix popcorn flavors too and each flavor is grouped in a certain price range. I decided to mix the caramel cashew, cheesecake, oreo chocolate, and turtle flavors. I ended up paying $13.50 ish for the small bag, but it was worth every penny. The bag was HUGE and they fill up the bag to the brim. They definitely did not skim on the popcorn! You can also sample flavors before you buy. They have everything from fruity, savory, to sweet and salty flavors. The popcorn is made fresh and you can taste how fresh it is. Super nice texture and crunch! The caramel cashew is now a favorite flavor of mine. They include lots of cashews and you get the distinct slightly salty and sweet caramel corn flavor! The cheesecake was good, not as good as the caramel cashew in my opinion though. The oreo chocolate and turtle were also pretty good. There were chunks of oreo pieces with the popcorn which I loved. The person helping me was super nice and layered each flavor of the popcorn in the bag. I thought it was awesome he did that. He was very helpful and was very patient with me as I was deciding what flavors to order. If you are a fellow popcorn lover like me, check this place out. It's really good! They have an impressive selection of flavors, great staff, and top quality gourmet popcorn. I left super happy and nostalgic as this experience took me back to my childhood years when I always ate caramel corn! read more

Love this popcorn spot! We have been going to see them since they were at the farmers market before they had brick and mortar store. They are located in a small spot by Walmart in the shopping center on ni Sometimes you can still catch them downtown at Gallery night. The owners are super friendly and this family run business is all about customer service. They also partner and support our local schools (Washington high school). They have a ton of flavors, something for everyone for sure. They will patiently let u try different ones too if you are sure what you'd like. Some of my favorites are blackberry, watermelon, and dill. They have candy dipped, traditional, mixes, and everything in between. Check them out and support your local businesses! read more

If there were more than five stars Hannah and Popcorn King would get them all. I am so impressed with Hannah as she always (yes, many visits first review) takes the time to smile, say hello and find out what I want and what my preferences are. Then without pressure finds a way to walk me through the different flavors of corn all while providing samples if interested. I'm always impressed with Popcorn Kings quality, selection and prices. The store is spotless, folks are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Even when I have a small order I am treated as though I'm giving them business to re-tile the Taj Mahal. Thank you, Hannah for being so polite and nice to work with. Definitely knows her business which is why I will continue to buy from Popcorn King! read more

The popcorn was great. Priced a bit too high in their specialty flavors. Not sure why caramel is half the price of caramel cashew. Or why Cheesecake is half the price of birthday cake. Make sure you check the menu price for your specific flavor before you have them bag it up for ya. My daughter got birthday cake flavor and I assumed it was a "candy" flavor being like 6.50 for a junior. Turned out it was an 11.00 junior size. read more

This place is the definition of local artisanal product. The owner takes immense pride in his over-the-top gourmet popcorn in more flavors most people can imagine. Offerings range from sweet to savory and most are highly addictive. My all-time favorite is caramel popcorn, and Greg (The Popcorn King himself) has perfected it: not too sweet, not too sticky - just a perfect balance that allows the flavor of the popcorn to come through. It is my go-to road food/kryptonite. The subtle hint of salt makes it the best version of caramel popcorn around. I would put it up against Chicago's Garrett's Popcorn any day of the week. Greg has recently added kettle corn to his vast repertoire. If you have never tried it, you are in for a real treat. The popcorn is very light and delicately seasoned with a hint of sweet and a hint of salt. It is balanced perfectly, and is my new favorite snack food. This place should be on the list of must-try places for foodies. The impressive high quality popcorn will make anyone a fan. read more
