Darrell is amazing! I was in the middle of a mess with my short-term Airbnb rental I manage…read moreremotely. My 4 month old expensive Schlage Encode Lock broke when my renters were in the unit. Even the backup keys would not work in the lock. I called a 24-hour lock service off Google. They solved the immediate problem, but refused to put on a keyless lock, so I paid dearly for a temporary situation. The renters left and I had 48 hours to fix the situation correctly before the next renters came in. I needed to find a locksmith expert, my go to person to fix this situation. I found him!! I went to Yelp and, thank goodness, I found Darrell. I called him after normal hours and he picked up live and said, "Don't worry, we got this covered." He told me he loved Schlage Encode Locks and broken one is a real fluke. He wanted to see the original damaged one. Bottom line he was out there with a brand new Schlage Encode lock installed, ready to go within 48 hours and he knew exactly what was wrong with the old lock. He took a couple if pictures of the broken lock so I could return it to Schlage for a free replacement. I might add that he also repairs locks and he could have repaired it for a reasonable fee, but given the situation I'd already ordered a new one. He even noted that our kitchen window screen had been removed, left on the ground outside and bent where the renters had to crawl out a window to get out. Yeah this lock situation was bad! Darrell took a picture of the screen, bent it back into shape and put it back in the window for me. I might add that I am also so impressed with Schlage the manufacturer. They wanted the old lock back after Darrell's assessment due to the seriousness of the failure of the lock. They did send a brand new one out free of charge, too late for me, but it is now my backup. Bottom line Darrell is awesome! His follow-up, his expertise, timeliness and accessibility is 5 star. In addition, his prices are so reasonable; reasonable to the point that I told him to add more money to the bill! Thanks Darrell!
