The Rocks Ghost Tours - The tour doesn't start at their office. Thankfully they post a little map to show you where to go if you do go there first.

It' was 2 hours long and it didn't feel like it was that long. The tour guide was very good and we walked to a lot of places with ghost stores and historic areas.

He tried his best to make the experience enjoyable. He offered some history along the way. Part of this tour takes place in a very busy tourist district, so it's hard to get into the mood some of the time. Also there is a lot of walking. That in itself is not bad, but the tour is SO spread out, it takes quite a while to travel between sites, which also dampens the spooky mood. The stories are pretty tame, but you learn about colony life along the way. You do get to see some places you may not normally see, like an archeological dig that seems to be by appointment only. Overall, I don't regret this tour. I got to see a few out of the way things and learned a little history. Would I recommend it to a friend wanting a ghost tour? Maybe with reservations.

A commercialized zoo for viewing the most common animals in Australia…read more Wild Life is part of the pier attractions similar to Icon Park in Orlando. They also had a Madam Tussauds museum. They had a good amount of different animal exhibit spots. The emu enclosure and Kangaroo viewing area were two of my favorites! They had a nice outdoor viewing area where the animals could come up to you and you could feed them and touch them. The other viewing space I enjoyed was the Koalas in the cafe area. It was nice to sit and enjoy a snack with Koalas sitting near me enjoying eucalypts leaves!

I highly recommend doing this if you're interested in all three because it is quite the savings. Honestly, I'm quite glad we came to Wild Life Sydney and didn't visit the big zoo. We were mostly interested in AUSTRALIAN wild life and you certainly got that here. Coming around the corner, we walked past Sea Life and the line was out of control so I thought it was going to be crowded and annoying here as well. Thankfully, there was no line and it wasn't crowded inside at all. We were here around 11am, which feels like prime time so we got very lucky. Some highlights were being able to pet a kangaroo, which was shockingly nice, they have such soft fur and the photo ops with the koalas. Not going to lie I felt a bit cheated by the koala experience. While we waited our turn, I watched the worker talk to and show the couple before us both sides of the koala enclosures, giving facts and taking lots of pictures. When we came up, we were taken to one koala and not really spoken to unless we asked a question. Eh, whatever, the photos were cute. I'd recommend this place if you're into learning more about some interesting Australian animals.
