The indoor area was very clean and welcoming. The staff is amazing and it is obvious they are there for all the right reasons. The fees were half of what we had seen advertised in our own area and as we were on vacation this was so comforting. We really appreciate your services, staff, facilities and loving care for animals. We will be back when in the area or passing by. We will and have referred you to others. Oh and I almost forgot the extra added blessing of a play date. The staff even wear hearing protection when they go in there. Can you imagine what this is doing to your dog! 3) They charge EXTRA for "play time". I didn't get a clear answer on this question, but if you don't pay for play time, does your dog even get to go outside during the day at all!? Or are they just stuck in there all the time! 4) Staff was not friendly and didn't want to answer questions 5) The owner (i assume, older guy, retired doctor) has a real "I know better then everyone" attitude. I would not want my puppy stuck in this situation. Much prefer another local kennel which has indoor/outdoor access all the time for the dogs.

But today I had a very bad experience with their current staff and policies. I dropped my pup off at 7:15 a.m. this morning (drop off is 7 - 8). I stopped in to pick her up at 12:15ish (pick up is before 1:00 p.m.). I wasn't really sure what "before 1:00" meant but figured if I dropped my pup off at 7:15 surely that was enough time to get her done. I was greeted by a very annoyed and unapologetic staff whose only response was "well... ugh!". I left and returned a minute later to catch them talking crap about me! My only crime was to try to be prompt and pick up my pup "before 1:00" (whatever that means). One of our last freedoms in this country is to decide where we spend our money - for me, it won't be at the Barking Lot.

It took forever to grow her out when we did we took her here and she worked *magic*. Duchess looks gorgeous! She took care to shape her face and give her a cute ponytail. She did the puppy's first cut and got her tangles out. 2nd appointment was yesterday and I was so surprised to see the girls. Their face shape is much better than I could have asked for and the puppy looks fantastic!! Like a different dog! Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work they do, I'm so glad I found them, I won't ever take my girls elsewhere and the ladies are very nice and welcoming to the dogs.
