Some before and after pictures to show what this man had to do for me to get this job done. He went above and beyond to do what NEEDED to be done. Bad leaks around my steps made it impossible to keep the pool full and over time the older liner was trashed. New liner installed, refreshed resealed the stepz, painted the deck. Most importantly, we had a ground water problem that required us to install a proper dewatering system near the main drain of the pool to help make sure there was no ground water in the bottom of the pool. It's a big deal to me when getting involved in a big project to know that the person handling it has what's best for YOU in mind, and not what's best for their wallet. Dan did a decent job and saved me money over the other pool guys. Job was completed in 3 days start to finish. I had told each pool contractor that I wanted a basic but quality job to refinish my pool. With Dan I was offered a plain white marble dust plaster and we were able to keep the current tiles around the rim and the blue tiles on the step edges as both were in good condition. The other guys wanted to take everything out and only offered me the various colored granite chip finishes or for even more the current trendy pebble finishes. Dan's proposal saved me 40% over the other guys which was significant $$$. I did second guess myself thinking how would the white finish turn out? Well, as you can see in my final photo I ended up with a nice pool color when the water was in it. Ultimately I was glad I went with Dan - any minor concerns aside. He met my request for economy - talking to Dan later, he too could have done the granite chip finish and replaced all the tile but he was the only one who listened to my request and gave me what I wanted and the pool turned out good also. read more

Our pool had been needing remarcited for years. We went through Angie's list and Homeadvisors the estimates were way above our budget and a few no shows. Fortunately we found Poolz by Dan on facebook. We called him on an Saturday and he came out the next day. He was very knowledgeable and gave a estimate that was way below any we had received. I was skeptical due to the low price. He explained he didn't have the large overhead and he did the prep work himself. I was still leary and needed a reference. After speaking to the reference she gave a glowing review on his service and the outstanding reults of her pool. At that point I decided to go with Dan and I was not disappointed.
