If I could give 10 stars I would. Mike saved me hours of work replumbing due to a cracked fitting. I was going to replace with the same product which would have taken me most of the morning. He suggested saving all the time and aggravation and using a split-fitting... The most difficult part was cutting the old fitting off as it had to be cut in two places, but 45 minutes after is sat down with my tools, the pool was back in operation! Mike, you're the MAN! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and everyone in it. They are local and have been here for years. They seem like a family oriented business and make you feel like family while you're there. My husband and I purchased a pool home in the area (first time pool owners, yay!) Needless to say, we have no clue how to maintain a pool....They have been SO MUCH help, the best part is they often give us cost effective options. We feel as if they are always completely transparent on the costs of everything with us, and always SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! I talk about this company all of the time and my peers often laugh when I say this but I genuinely trust every word they say everytime. I refuse to go to any other pool company! read more

Pool Medic ripped us off. Charge $5600 for a $2000 job. They didn't do what they promised. We paid them to clean the pool and they left it filthy. I will never go to Pool Medic again. Stay away from this company will take advantage of you. We have found a more reputable company near us. read more

I have been asking for advice over the past two years. everytime I've been told what needs to be with the knowledge that has been given has been well appreciated and greatly improved my pool. I have never seen an attitude or disrespectful behavior towards me or any customer. I find the reviews below to be false and misleading. Strongly suggest you get a written estimate BEFORE you use Pool Medic. Upon asking Pool Medic for someone to diagnose why my pool was not working, I was told there was a $125 non-refundable service fee "to have someone come out." I agreed. Despite Pool Medic sending 3 technicians on 3 separate days over a period of a couple of weeks, they were unable to diagnose or repair it. On each of these occasions, I inquired as to the charges. None was received on any of these days nor did I ever receive an invoice. Following these efforts, I received a call from a Pool Medic employee stating there was nothing more they could do suggesting I contact another company to have a line charge test which I later learned that would cost approximately $250 at a minimum. I subsequently visited the Pool Medic store on Rt. 52 and advised for the first time that the cost for their failed attempts were over $600. The Pool Medic owner and I engaged in a heated discussion when I advised him I had not been advised of any costs despite my continued requests and $600 was entirely unacceptable. The owner was loud and and rude and his behavior was unprofessional. I later contacted another pool company whose technician fixed my pool in 20 minutes. No line charge test was ever performed nor determined necessary. I can not recommend Pool Medic for their failed attempts and failing to advise or consult with me relative to costs, AND for the disrespectful way I was spoken to by the owner. read more

HORRIBLE! They send substitute guys they fu d in the street ti come service your home, they'll break something and tell you it needs repairing. These guys have done our weekly pool service for a couple of years and have done a great job, never missing a service and we no longer have to think about pool chemistry... ever. We recently had a very significant leak and while it was getting diagnosed and repaired, and the pool was an absolute disaster... green with DE all over the bottom. Tim came out for weekly service and our pool went from green and nasty to blue and perfect literally within just a few hours. I have no idea what he did, but great job, and we'll certainly never use another company. read more

We bought pool pump from them that was 1.5 years old. The owner Mike yelled at me when I asked for a bill when they fixed the parts that were leaking on the pump. He was so nasty and yell at my 75 year old mother for just asking for a itemized receipt. I will never go back to this business again and I do not recommend them. read more

worst pool maintenance I have ever witnessed. for 2 weeks now, I have watched worker sit in truck for 20minutes on cell phone, finally gets out with a net and chemical kit, 4 minutes and 30 seconds elapse, out she comes , all done, you got to be kidding, who would pay $125 a month for such shoddy, lazy workmanship. her service is surely a reflection on pool medic as a terrible service. try some company like rain dance, they leave a checksheet of all service done during their visit, which includes cleaning filter, vaccume entire pool. they do not cheat the customers like pool medic does read more

I've never given a review on Yelp but after spending time with Mike from Pool Medic (SR 52 Location) I have to give them a full 5 star. I met Mike when my new pump was leaking and since his company services Hayward pumps and handles all the claims, billing, and payment on their end, it was so easy for me. I had never registered my info. online but Mike helped me get everything set up without any headache on my part. He is 100% full service and customer service oriented. He repaired my pump and put everything back to working order in no time at all. Following this service, I called on him for help when my pump simply would not go on. It was due to the timing mechanism in my timer. Again, without any delay he was quick to get my pump, test it and arrange for necessary repairs. I can be overly anxious and get frustrated with the smallest of things but he and his team are incredibly patient and take the time to explain things. I am not considering using them for my pool maintenance and other pool servicing needs. I highly recommend Pool Medic located on SR52 in Hudson, Fl. Kudos to Mike and Joe for a job well done. read more
