After searching high and low for a groomer for our high-anxiety shepherd, I was thrilled to find Barb at Pawsitive Karma! She made an instant connection with my pup and made my girl look (and smell) better than she had in years. We were thrilled with the results, and my dog was happy, too. There's a cute little shop across the way that you can stroll around while waiting and the salon is perfect for one-pet-at-a-time service. We typically wouldn't indulge ourselves with regular pet grooming, but we will be going back every other month because we were so impressed.

WEEK AND A HALF after communicating with her. I messaged them Sunday! As the email wasn't seen. It's 2021, she had my number. She didn't call OR text that an email was sent and relied on her email being gotten in a time efficient manner even though she told me to check my "spam folder"for her emails! If you know that your emails could end up there why not simply call! Horrible! I definitely wouldn't recommend this service to anyone else. What a waste of time and effort. THE ONE STAR REVIEWS aren't lying! BELIEVE THEM! Her "reply" confirms exactly what I stated. I spoke with her over the phone ONCE in nearly TWO WEEKS... and had to rely on hoping I saw her email that would be sent to my "spam folder". And I'm TOTALLY happy that I figured this out before having my beloved animal in her care! Good riddance!

Then I boarded my dog with a groom on the day I picked her up. She seemed to have a problem with tangles in the dogs coat. I brushed her and combed her and even showed Kathy the tools that I used. I then boarded her again and again with a groom on the day to be picked up. When I called to check in on my dog she said that I didn't arrange for the grooming which I know i did. She grudgingly did it. Next I took my dog for a groom. I dropped the dog off at 9:30 AM as arranged and she kept my dog there till 8:30 that night! Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I arranged another grooming. When I showed up to drop my dog off, she told me that I was scheduled for the previous day. First, I know that I put the day in my calendar as I was standing there in her shop. Secondly, if I somehow got it in the wrong day, why didn't she at least call to see where I was. "I don't make calls" was her response. At that point I was done. Like I said, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and now I am done. There are other groomers and other boarder. DON'T USE HER!!!
