First of all I have never dealt with a more rude condescending owner of a franchise (his name is…read moreJordan) ever than I have at this place. I would strongly recommend going to another Budget or Penske than dealing with this gentlemen. My mother reserved a truck for me to move my things from Shrevport to Dallas and originally reserved it from Friday to Sunday and she was told they were open till 5. Turns out my mother misunderstood me about my move date so she called back to change the reservation to Saturday pickup and Monday drop off in Dallas. So on Saturday afternoon I look online at Google and it says they close at 12 on Saturday and its 2 o'clock. So I call out there to verify and no answer but an automated system saying nobody is there or they are out on property. Google says that there is another location on Barksdale Blvd in Bossier so I call there and no answer. So after scrambling I ended up getting a Penske. So a few weeks later my mother has a fifty dollar "no show" on her credit card. I call Jordan the owner to try and explain what happened and he immediately became defensive and condescending. He tried to tell me that there was no voice mail at that location and then later admitted to it saying if I would've waited I would've been connected to corporate. I told him that Google says they close at 12 on Saturday and he said they post that so people won't try and rent trucks after 12 on Saturday!! WHAT!!?! He also told me I was lying about a Bossier location and that the only other location was in Marshall. To make a long story short he was a real jerk and told me they were open and we weren't going to get our money back. I don't usually cuss at people but I told him exactly where he could go. I called corporate and reported him and corporate is refunding my mothers fifty dollars. I don't know what's going on here but I would strongly advise anybody NOT to rent from this guy. Corporate was very nice and apologized. It looks like from a previous review this guy is a self righteous grandiose jerk who treats customers badly and then when they call him on it he gets defensive. Oh well....I used Penske instead and anybody that is thinking of using Budget you get what you pay for. Go to Home Depot and get a Penske. Jordan....if you are reading this CHEERS and let's both thank corporate for giving me my money back all for you being a complete and total jerk!!
