I've been using them since I needed an emergency dentist a couple of years ago. I've used the practice at Torbay (Coast Dental) as well, and all the dentists do great work, are kind and gentle, and charge about half what I am used to paying! My emergency work was toothache. Another dentist had told me I needed a root canal in a front tooth, and I was moaning to a friend about the money when she told me to try them. Not only was the work half the price I'd been quoted, it was for a different tooth! The dentist took the time to really narrow the problem down. If I'd gone with the original dentist, I would have had to get a second root canal done to actually fix the problem.

Seeing as a visit to the Dentist is inevitable, I'd rather go here than anywhere else. The reception & rooms are as homey and comfortable as you can get (for a Dentist) and Dr Michael Ng is extremely gentle, precise and kind. Really, that's the sort of thing you want any gum-digger day. He gave me some simple, practical advice last time I went, and it helped a lot. What more can I say? Next time you need those pearly whites attended too, go here!

The clinic was closed the Dentist did not turn up, as she went on holiday, and for the following week too, which they referred to as EMERGENCY. Had to wait on the street in the rain. Wasted my time. Called up the practice, Shivam Practice Manager picked up, he literally disconnected the phone. When I complained the owner/director (face of the business and not a dentist) said ''GET OUT' and do not come to his clinic. Complain to whoever you want. He said he was very learned. Not Professional but very Arrogant and disrespectful. Even when Dr Nikita tried to resolve the issue, she was not allowed. This treatment was meted to us in spite of telling them that my husband was a heart patient and should not be upset as we are now advanced in age.. Bad Service. Bad Management. PLEASE NOTE the Good reviews are perhaps from their own staff eg. Jayen is also the name of their Practice Manager who reviewed only their practices at Stoddard Road and Point Chev. Also Shivam Verma is the husband of Dentist Nikita Verma. Nikita kept mum when we were being abused by her husband.

As it turned out, I required dental attention during the Christmas-New Year's holiday, when most dentists are on vacation (most don't return to work until mid-January). I was referred to Dr. Sherriff by another dentist who was already on vacation, yet knew Dr. Sherriff also operated an after-hours practice. I called up the office, and left my name and number on their voice messaging system. Within an hour, Rebecca, the Principal Nurse and Administration Manager returned my call and made an appointment for me for that afternoon. Dr. Sherriff was very patient and allowed me to explain the nature of my concern. He conducted an examination and took an x-ray of the affected area. There was never any pressure to speed through the examination and he was most professional throughout. In my earlier telephone conversation, I alerted Rebecca of the prescribed oral rinse that I used. To her credit, by the time I visted the Dentist, she had already researched the brand and its active ingredients for disclosure to the dentist. All in all, I would heartedly return for additional dental services, and would recommend this office to anyone.

Came here for a teeth cleaning, and both my partner and I shared the same experience of the cleaning being very quick, aggressive, and not very thorough. I was talked to pretty harshly and condescending regarding my teeth brushing and flossing skills. I'm all for learning to perform better, but not when someone is being rude about it. Returned days after due to excruciating tooth pain afterwards, and they said I pretty much had no choice but to extract my tooth. This day and age, and given how old I am, I thought that sounded pretty prehistoric. I went somewhere else and received a second opinion, who thought that procedure was outrageous and provided other options. Thumbs down
