So I'm new to the area and I need to visit a dentist as its been a few years well maybe a couple…read more So I ask my neighbour for a recommendation and she practically sings "yes I do know a good dentist and I have been using them for years", so she runs upstairs and gets the business card and she says "you have to ask for 'Mayank'" make sure you ask for him, make sure, she tells me about 100 times, drilled it into my head. So I ring them up and do what she says, the appointment is all set, I turn up and I am quickly attended to, the dentist comes in and I have no idea if he is Mayank or not but he is very good, very gentle. He gives my teeth a check and amazingly says I only need a couple of small fillings, don't dentists always say you need about 50 of them. Anyway in 20 minutes I'm finished, no anaesthetic needed, I'm a brave girl. And when I go and pay, I ask the receptionist, was that Mayank, Yes it was Mayank, Oh thank god or my neighbour would have told me off I'm sure. Oh and very reasonable price too. If you need a dentist do come here, I think he also has a practice in Mairangi Bay.

The reception & rooms are as homey and comfortable as you can get (for a Dentist) and Dr Michael Ng is extremely gentle, precise and kind. Really, that's the sort of thing you want any gum-digger day. He gave me some simple, practical advice last time I went, and it helped a lot. What more can I say? Next time you need those pearly whites attended too, go here!

The clinic was closed the Dentist did not turn up, as she went on holiday, and for the following week too, which they referred to as EMERGENCY. Had to wait on the street in the rain. Wasted my time. Called up the practice, Shivam Practice Manager picked up, he literally disconnected the phone. When I complained the owner/director (face of the business and not a dentist) said ''GET OUT' and do not come to his clinic. Complain to whoever you want. He said he was very learned. Not Professional but very Arrogant and disrespectful. Even when Dr Nikita tried to resolve the issue, she was not allowed. This treatment was meted to us in spite of telling them that my husband was a heart patient and should not be upset as we are now advanced in age.. Bad Service. Bad Management. PLEASE NOTE the Good reviews are perhaps from their own staff eg. Jayen is also the name of their Practice Manager who reviewed only their practices at Stoddard Road and Point Chev. What a positive experience....for several reasons…read more Being a traveler, and not having a local dentist, it was great to have connected with and be seen by Dr. Sherriff. As it turned out, I required dental attention during the Christmas-New Year's holiday, when most dentists are on vacation (most don't return to work until mid-January). I was referred to Dr. Sherriff by another dentist who was already on vacation, yet knew Dr. Sherriff also operated an after-hours practice. I called up the office, and left my name and number on their voice messaging system. Within an hour, Rebecca, the Principal Nurse and Administration Manager returned my call and made an appointment for me for that afternoon. Dr. Sherriff was very patient and allowed me to explain the nature of my concern. He conducted an examination and took an x-ray of the affected area. There was never any pressure to speed through the examination and he was most professional throughout. In my earlier telephone conversation, I alerted Rebecca of the prescribed oral rinse that I used. To her credit, by the time I visted the Dentist, she had already researched the brand and its active ingredients for disclosure to the dentist. All in all, I would heartedly return for additional dental services, and would recommend this office to anyone.

This day and age, and given how old I am, I thought that sounded pretty prehistoric.
