The portion is quite large and was more than I could finish on my own. There was a good amount of cheese and other options as well! I wasn't a huge fan of the gravy as it was very thin and not overly flavourful, also the bacon was quite hard and chewy, as though it had been pre-cooked and sitting out for a while! Not life-changing but good for some quick comfort food!

So, I must be reasonable and know that this food is super mild and not as flavorful as I would like. Taking it home and fixing it up was the best option for me and I was craving a quesadilla. The prices took me aback somewhat. $17.50 for 1 chicken quesadilla, just under $20 with tax. Restaurant + prices. But the owner seemed nice enough, there was a small patio to wait on with tables, the Mexican music was playing from a little speaker and the food here is made to order. It didn't take too long. Maybe 10 minutes. Credit cards accepted. The owner was intuitive and put the lettuce and pico on the side for me although I didn't want to trouble him re tasking him with that but he was aware that I couldn't eat it right away. Also, it came with a small sour cream and a salsa. Kid mild. The rice was just ok. Too tomatoey not very authentic but that's ok. I had asked for no beans. After the order was placed, I learned that for $2.50 less, you can get just the quesadilla. Some gluten free options for those that need it except for the gravy, burritos and chimichangas. I have been a couple of times and had the lamb burger (excellent) and a special greek poutine (Gyro fixings on fries) which was really good, should go on their standard menu. I've also had their fresh pretzels also great. They happen to be parked outside of a micro brewery, not an accident i'm sure. So if you want a cold beer with your meal its only steps away. Best in Stittsville in my opinion.

There are 2 Markie's I Ottawa; the other is on Carling. This location is in a plaza with a TD bank, Shoppers Drug, a Freshii, and Willy's, among other businesses.
