The portions are generous and it's evident that the ingredients are of the highest quality and the chefs are indeed very skilled. Another plus is that the Dilraj are always willing to accommodate requests that aren't on the menu - nothing seems too much trouble. There are half portions available for children (or sometimes pensioners) there are lower-fat healthy options for those watching their weight (although I don't have first hand experience in this!) and there's the 'Apna' option for connoisseur diners who realise a lot of eastern cuisine is tailored for the western market and who want to try a style of cooking that's a lot more in keeping to 'home'. Our family have been far and wide to many different eating establishments and we all agreed ages ago to stop looking for anything better because there isn't! If finances allowed, we'd spend a lot more time here for sure. I recommend it to everyone whole heartedly.
