The playground has two different play areas a toddler play area and older kids area. My kids really enjoyed playing on this playground because it's not your typical playground equipment. Watch your dog around them as well as they are NOT happy if they get jumped on or interfered with and they will be sure to let you know that. They also talk politics quite a bit, so if that isn't your bag, you'll want to give them space. Otherwise, it was a nice experience and my dog had a good time.

There is a boardwalk out to the large lake, but they have neglected it and there are more and more hundreds of square meters of water weeds clogging it. If they don't do something soon, the lake will become unusable. There is a 10 foot alligator in the small lake that you occasionally see, which is fun. He/she sometimes suns himself on the bank so be careful. After Milton and Helene, the squirrels that used to follow you around on the trail are nowhere to be seen, and very few birds either. I suppose over time they will repopulate the park. It's a great way to spend an hour or so.

An amazing outdoor spot for exercises, picnics, volleyball, walking, skating, rollerblading, dolphin viewing, hammocking, slacklining, tennis, you name it! The host Reggae Rise up every year which is always a great time. They have plenty of other events they host year round here as well like tacos and tequila fest, music festivals, and so much more! On most days you can see Tampa and the view of the St. Pete Pier is beautiful. We are at the park pretty regularly, but it's also a place we take our visitors for walks.

Walking trails, playground, dog park, lake, picnic shelters and bathrooms. They have paved and gravel trails to walk on, you can choose which way to go. There are so many trails to follow on Eagle lake Loop. According to All Trails app both trail loops are about 2.5 miles. The playground has a toddler area and bigger kids area to play. The dog park is fenced in and offers a good amount of shade. The lake has wooden dock that goes around the lake to check out the fish and Turtles. On our visit today we saw lots of Turtles . Bathrooms and picnic areas are clean and seem to be well maintained. So grateful for this park to walk around and be in nature to explore with our kids.
