Getting out of there was a nightmare with lines of cars wrapped around for what seemed like miles. That said, it can get very hot depending on the time of day, so put on sim screen and bring a hat. We arrived at noon and it was scorching hot. Good thing the store and food court have air conditioning. It got better as the day went on. I went on Saturday with my husband and son. We found some great deals at Van Huesen. They are having a liquidation sale, island wide. My husband found a few nice work shirts. Christmas sales haven't begun yet, so we'll be back soon. Afterwards, we walked over to Chili's for a late lunch. All in all, it was a nice family day. The mall has a playground for the kids.

Came during the week on a Tues and it was not too crowded, which was a welcome treat as I do not like shopping malls at all (nor shopping in general). I really enjoyed this mall, though, as it has a bit of everything including some non USA stores. Mall doesn't look like much from the outside and you cannot tell (at least from our entrance) that it looks like a mall until you get outside. Very clean, upscale, and has something for everyone.

There is also a small market for groceries that surprisingly it had a good selection of products. However, the prices are higher than a local supermarket outside Palmas but that's the price for convenience. There is also a small yogurt shop with just two flavors of yogurt but they have lots of toppings available. The pizza joint on the second floor is a great spot for a delicious takeout meal. Overall is good to have a Plaza with some options inside Palmas so you don't need to leave the complex. If you are staying in any of the communities of Palmas del Mar you can easily get here on a golf cart or take a walk.
