Our group has been in Guanica form a week before I arrived and I kept hearing about this Marshalls. Those joining this leg of the trip couldn't wait to join, so we made it a stop on our list for a day trip to Yauco.
It's a large location. If you have time, grab some coffee for the small coffee shop just outside the door and take your time browsing with a hot or cold cafe.
The selection is different from what I remember at my local Marshall's back home, though I haven't been in stores for a while (online shopper here). I fell in love with the children's section. They had so many shoe options for my daughter. I had to stop myself at 4 paid, before heading to the opposite end of the store to look at clothes for her.
I found quality mix and match jogging suits for $5.99/$6.99, perfect for weather back home. Options are endless, so much so that I opted to purchase a suitcase so I wouldn't have to put things back after I overloaded my cart.
When I first arrived, I set an alarm for 15 minutes before my group wanted to leave, as I noticed the line was LONG!!! I decided to head to check out 30 minutes before, anticipating a long line. I was able to walk right up to the register - no line! The clerk graciously packed my suitcase with my new items so I wouldn't have to. By the time we were ending, the line was LONG again. I noticed they only had 2 registers open at that time, but they opened a third one to accommodate the growing line.
It was a great break from work - good ole retail therapy for a growing child! read more
