Their machine shop is where the numbers matching motor for my 65 was sent to be worked. It took months to get the motor and heads back from them and when it was put back together it only lasted 700 miles before their mistakes caused it to spin a bearing and have to be rebuilt again. So, it took multiple months again to get them to fix their mistakes at which point they thought they should be paid again even though they claim that their work is warrantied. Needless to say, they were not paid the second time even though they continued to insist on it. Both times the motor had issues using excessive oil, which we just figured out the cause. Not only did they screw up the block and the crank, but we just discovered that they botched their work on the heads as well. The oil consumption is coming from the valves. So, this time the heads are being sent to a quality shop as I refuse to give Carquest the chance to make this matter even worse. If you value your motor, don't let Carquest touch it!!

I asked for their least expensive Oil Change to include Pit Crew ONLY nothing fancy no bells & whistles. I supplied the oil, but not the filter. I asked that the tire pressure stay at 80 psi per tire because I was pulling a 34" 5th Wheel around 14,500lbs. They said they would do the oil change, lube & supply the filter giving us credit for the supplied oil. When I went to pay it was the most expensive I've had to pay for an oil change at any Walmart in any state all things being equal. That being said I complied & payed. I was charged extra for services that I did not ask for.They concurred that my tire pressure was checked & left at 80 psi. Upon returning home I was surprised to find that I had a pretty good oil leak on the floor of my garage. I called my local Walmart Auto Center where I always have it serviced, brought them my receipt & they checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong to cause the leak. Before making an appointment to have it checked out at the dealer, the oil leak had completely stopped. Whatever they did at the Redding Center took care of the problem. They hand tightened the oil plug & filter. I now believe that is all it took. I then went to my local Big O Tire outlet to have my tire inflation checked & put back to normal no longer pulling RV, Guess what, Helena, Mt had put the incorrect pressure in my tires after saying they left it at 80 psi it was actually 60 psi in the front & 70 psi in the rear. I was lucky not to have an accident pulling the 5th wheel home 1400 miles. Big O even said we were lucky not to have blown a tire or worse pulling that kind of weight. I am writing this review to forewarn others not to have their Oil Change or any Auto Service at this Walmart in Helena, Mt. I needed to replace my truck again for a stronger one because I got a heavier trailer, and at first I thought I was going to get a slightly used diesel Ram 2500 because I needed more towing capacity, but after looking at everything, I decided on a dodge ram Laramie 3500. 23,000lb towing capacity and 4100lb payload capacity means I'm not going to have problems towing my new toy hauler! But that's just half the story. The other half is the level of service at Lithia from Sam and Zach and is unparalleled. Not only did they see to all the details I needed with my battery cable installation, but they personally drove my truck back and forth to auto trim design TWICE to get it outfitted with the extras while I was waiting for the sensors for the bumper install, and then they delivered it 15 miles out to my house when it was finally done.
