Well I have had a different experience at discount tire than the last one. Last time a few years…read moreago when I had a leak, they told me my tire was unfixable and I had to buy a new one, and so I went somewhere else and they fixed it no problem, which made me very skeptical of their intentions, but I recently went back and they treated me very well and different. This is what happened. I had a very fast leak in my tire when I got home and so the tire was flat in the morning. I knew I had to go somewhere to get it repaired. I pumped it up n the morning but it would only pump up to 24 pounds so I knew it was a bad leak. I decided to rush to discount tire because they were the closest tire place, and give them one more shot at their "free flat repair" that they advertise. When I arrived there, I explained my experience there last time and told them I hoped that they could fix my tire legitimately instead of telling me I needed a new one. After they looked at my tire, they told me again that it was unfixable and that I needed a new one. Understandably, I was very upset, especially after the last experience there, and I went in ready for a fight with the manager because I had told them to put it back on my car and pump it up and I was gonna go somewhere else, and I was especially ready for a fight because the guy in the shop had told me they are not legally allowed to put it back on the car and I was fuming! When the guy came out and talked to me, he was aware of how I felt and instead of trying to make me buy a new tire, he actually said it was more important that I was safe on the road and that I had a good experience than it was for me to have to pay for a new tire and so they GAVE me a brand new tire for free! I was very surprised and I was obviously happy with that solution and so I did promise them that I would come here and give them this five star review that they certainly did earn! I should've gotten the guy's name so I could mention it here, but he was very nice and very understanding and it is clear that they really do care. Thank you very much discount tire, you did change my mind about your shop there with your care and service for your customers.

However, I was disappointed by an incident in the waiting area. A customer brought in two very energetic dogs that were running around and jumping on people. One even jumped on another customer's laptop. When the gentleman pushed the dog away, the owner made a rude comment asking if he had a problem with his dogs. I spoke up and said I did as well. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've encountered uncontrolled dogs in this store. I believe pets should be left at home, with exceptions for service animals. Customers should be able to wait comfortably without having to deal with someone else's unruly pets. Great employees and excellent service, but I hope management addresses this issue.

Now I had all my daughters with me and they had a nice waiting room. The first surprise when I walked in after I asked them if they could fix my tire, because not only could they fix it right then, but a flat repair was FREE! Even the tire shop where I normally go charges $25 if you did NOT buy the tire there but Point S does then for free! Obviously they do this to get customers, and it works! I'll definitely call there and price tires next time I'm in the market. Not just that but they were super nice, they had coffee, and even 3D printed toys that my daughter bought one of. Over all that are super friendly, and they do not just tires but also ALL auto and some other engine work. This place is definitely worth a call if you have ANY engine or other automotive needs! When the mechanics began their work on the allignment, they encountered some issues with my CV drive line, front axle case, wheel hub bearing, and rear break issues... The quote was a pretty fair price for all the work they were going to do, and even reduced the total cost because I had just purchased tires from them. A week later I dropped off my pickup to get the work done, and they were able to get it all done in about half of a day. Although there was a small snafu with some communication, the staff made things right for the total cost. Overall, I would recommend this service shop to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. Their staff is quite professional, kind, and explain the work/service to be done in a way that doesn't make you feel less intelligent. Thank you to Doug, one of the service members, for making sure a customer walked out with the keys in hand and satisfied with the service. I'll certainly be back.

They came out and said it was only "down a little". Short time l later my engine has a host of issues and new shop says related to the overheating incident. Eagle said they had no liability in the incident. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Lacks integrity. Does not return phone calls in a timely manner and distorts information to absolve themselves of any wrong doing.

I have been waiting over 2 years for Kolar tire West to make things right. had a oil change done…read moreand the tech found I had 2 low tires, told them to go ahead and patch them. when I left the shop that afternoon my left front tire and wheel detached from my vehicle destroying my left front hub brake rotor and wheel also bent a lower control arm, gave non repairable damage to the fender. the other tire and wheel on the left rear was loose and destroyed the wheel lug holes. I went in for a service, my oil was changed, I asked them to replace my windshield wipers. I pay for everything and while on the drive home I decide to test out my new wipers. Come to find out my wipers were never changed and I was only charged for them. It really bums me out because I love supporting local businesses. I own a business myself and now I take my 7 vehicles elsewhere unfortunately.

I bought several tires last winter at Les Schwab in Helena and had a rare bad experience. First…read morethey inflated two of my tires to 40 PSI, instead of the recommended 32. They also replaced a bad TPMS sensor at my request. Unknown to me, they didn't replace it with the exact model from Schrader, but used an "EZ Sensor", a kind of universal clone also made by Schrader. Less than a year later the EZ Sensor has gone bad and I replaced it with the specific model for my car. Bottom line: they do good work but you have to double check them. If you need to replace a tire sensor insist on an exact replacement or get out yourself. Amazon has them, and they're cheap.

I told them that they just made me waste 3 hours of my afternoon sitting in the lobby because they got the wrong size of tires, and all they said was sorry, after they told me that i then had to wait another 30 minutes for them to put the tires back on my car so I could leave. They wasted almost 4 hours my time and didn't even try to do anything to make up for it, i wouldn't recommend going there and I will not be going back.
