This crew has stood strong through opening two weeks before lock downs to celebrating their first "official" birthday this year. The math maths guys, they opened on Leap Day 2020! Here's the type of people the Monkey Crew is. I had to travel for work at the end of 2023. It was probably a solid 3 months that my wife and I hadn't been able to stop in. Our first time back, Jen and Diane were so excited, they about to threw a party from seeing us again! Some people may think that's just good service. My wife and I believe that is a sign of a local, family place, that cares about their customers. It's Cheers, but in North Royalton, and better. Ryan and Rick have one heck of a spot. They'll be the first to tell you that while they shake your hand and thank you for coming in. It would be lip service if they were wrong. WHEN we comeback to town there will be one non-negotiable place my wife and I will stop at. it's the Monk if you couldn't have guessed by now.

The pretzel was good but wished it would've been a little softer. Flatbread was decent. The food wasn't bad by any means but they were nothing special either.

I enjoy frequenting small businesses but this is the kind of place that chases customers to the chains because of their arrogance. First and last time Ill go there. They have a good amount of indoor seating and the place is super clean! They also have a patio area (dogs allowed!!), set up in their big parking lot. It's honestly really pretty for being a patio in a parking lot - cute lights, flowers, picnic tables, and umbrellas set up for each table. They even have like, tons of outdoor heaters, enough that if you're sitting at any outdoor picnic table, you'll be by a heater. We were there on a Friday night and they were playing really great classic rock - a mix of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, etc. it was so awesome just to drink a beer and vibe on their patio in the evening to the music. You order at the bar and seat yourself (which is great, cause you never feel like anyone is waiting on you to leave), so it's a pretty relaxing atmosphere. But someone did come by to take away empties and bring us more, cutting down on trips to the bar - it was awesome! I had a lovey toffee coffee porter brewed with nitro that I really enjoyed. Malty, roasty, coffee, everything you'd want in a porter. There's maybe like 8-10 beer options they brew there, and they have rotating guest taps. There's also merch available for sale as well! They also have limited food options, but they often have a food truck come by, especially in the evenings, so I'd check their social media or call to see if a food truck will be there. We got the food, expecting something like Bottlehouse/Masthead/HiHo for our meal, and it was Sysco food. The chicken sandwich was a Sysco chicken tender on a bun. For over $35.00 in food alone, we expected more. We both work in the service industry and understand that things happen, but being treated like an inconvenience for our entire experience is something I was not expecting from a brewery with such high ratings. The cherry on top: in the men's room, 1 of the 3 sinks and both of the urinals were out of order. Definitely will not be back.

Carly and her team were amazing to coordinate with, very professional and conscientious to what the family was going through. He said Das Schnitzel Haus made it better but this came in a very close second. Overall, we love their menu since they offer something different. Everything tasted great. We sat at the bar, which overlooks the outside, nice lighting and TVs around for any mood. Of course being in an airport, prices are high for what you're getting. I needed to add a lot of cholula sauce to the sandwich. The potatoes were very well seasoned with garlic. They were good, but I only had a few. My server, who was the only server and did double duty as the bartender as well, was very sweet and checked on me quite a few times despite the short staffing. I am positive Great Lakes Brewing has some good beer as they claim and based on their decor, however, I stuck with water before my flight.
