We are going into our second year at Castle View and my wife and I could not be any happier. We…read morehave our child in the Dual Language Immersion program that is offered there and we are excited with the results so far. We absolutely loved our teacher and thought she did a wonderful job. Neither one of us speak spanish but after just one year our daughter is already translating basic information from the teacher for us. Cannot wait to see what the next 5 years will hold. The school itself has a great campus with a wonderful staff. They host a nice collection of family events to help get the parents involved - ie. Movie night at the start of the year, several lunch with parent days, and a kindergarten field day that our child loved.

I paid for private preschool for my daughter since she was one and a half so going from a preschool…read morewhere you sign your child in and out and are 1/6 ratio and watched like a hawk was scary to shift from. It was quickly defined that my daughter is different (hyper) and I well knew this before I entered the school so I was VERY apprehensive entering a school who didn't know what my dear daughter could possibly get into being "on her own' in a class of so many children. She was assigned Ms. Pinto as a teacher and upon meeting her I went home and researched and found that she had some of the highest teaching credentials you can get. Upon her first quarter review her teacher was immediately addressing potential issues in her learning and she one on one teaching techniques. I could not be happier with this school, I come from the most paranoid and worrisome of places in both learning and safety and this school is NOTHING SHORT of quality. The staff cares and takes time and truly cares. Thank you so much Castle View Ps- Parking in the morning and afternoon is the hardest thing about this school ;)

(1 star) My…read moreexperience with Victoria Elementary was extremely disappointing. The primary reason was my experience with teacher Teresa Bell, whose communication and handling of concerns, in my opinion, consistently fell below the standard of professionalism I reasonably expected from an educator. The issues became sufficiently significant that I found it necessary to elevate my concerns to the school principal in an effort to obtain administrative review and resolution. Despite following the appropriate chain of communication and making good-faith efforts to address the matter constructively, I did not believe my concerns received meaningful consideration or an adequate response. Parents are entitled to expect professionalism, impartiality, accountability, and transparent communication from both educators and school administrators. Based on my personal experience, those expectations were not met. I hope the school carefully evaluates how parent concerns are addressed and takes meaningful steps to improve communication and accountability going forward.
