This review is in addition to a review I wrote about a different job Platinum Plumbing did for me…read more After 7 years or so I once again called on Platinum Plumbing for a project. Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I highly recommend you give this company a chance to work at your home or business. Im certain you're going to be impressed with the end result. Henry.

A positive review for all shore plumbing…read more I had a few major plumbing emergencies in my home that all shore plumbing was able to help me with efficiently for a reasonable price. In 2023 my basement was flooding and I didn't know from where. I called all shore and they got a crew here in under 30 minutes. They located where the water source was coming into my home and saved my basement & my belongings from further water damage. In 2024 my basement was smelling like sewage and all shore was able to figure out that my waste line had a crack in it. The team worked diligently and was able to replace my waste line in under 1 day. I was shocked that my basement was dust free even though they needed to cut walls open to access the waste line. If you are looking for an efficient, honest, affordable, plumbing company who is known for taking pride in their work and also respects your home by keeping the work site clean, all shore plumbing should be your go to.

For many years, I wanted to switch from a wood-burning fireplace to gas…read more I started with The Fireplace Factory in Bellmore. I worked with Tom who showed me my choices and explained the differences. I chose what I wanted and gave a deposit. Then came the hard part. Making the switch to gas. I asked for a plumber and they recommended Clearway Plumbing and Heating. The best choice! Jimmy, the owner, came by to give me a price, and I made an appointment. Paul and Joe showed up when they said they would, and spent almost 5 hours making the change. They were outside by the chimney. They were down in the crawlspace. They were out on the front lawn, tapping into the gas line. They were drilling through the concrete in the fireplace. I can't ever remember having workmen work as hard as they. Without complaining. Chris from the Fireplace Factory came by today and finished the job. I aged out of cleaning ashes and bringing up wood and Duraflame logs. This was the right choice for me and I couldn't be happier! I have a remote control and click on and click off. Thank you, Fireplace Factory. And special thanks to Jimmy, Paul, and Joe!

I had a really disappointing experience with Clearway Plumbing and Heating and felt completely…read moretaken advantage of. I reached out to Jim about replacing a cracked 5-year-old resin tub and sent multiple photos, details, and even confirmed with the manufacturer that the drain didn't need replacing. I was quoted $1,500 unless something unexpected came up. When Jim and his assistant arrived, they immediately said they couldn't lift the tub due to back issues and it's too heavy. I ended up calling my landscaper, who brought guys over to handle all the heavy lifting--removing the old tub and bringing in the new one. While waiting (for two hours), they sat in my driveway on the phone, smoking and asking me questions about the original installation that any professional should know or assess themselves. It felt very unprofessional. Once the tub was in place (thanks to the guys I hired), Jim essentially just connected the drain with a twist and had his assistant apply silicone--then charged me the full $1,500. I also had to prep the area myself and even clean the tub at the end because he didn't want to "mess it up." They also admitted they'd never worked with this type of tub before, which is something I absolutely should have been told upfront. In the end, I paid full price to Clearway, plus the additional cost for the people who actually did most of the work. I felt uncomfortable, pressured, and honestly ripped off. I would not recommend them.

The usual plumber for the house arrived, but let us know that he did not handle this sort of situation. So I called Clear River. We got the septic tank cleaning service ($646) for our home in Southampton on 06/30/23. Today…read more(03/01/24) it is overflowing. I was confused because only 3 people live in our home and it's been less than a year since we had the tank serviced. Their website says they recommend having the tank serviced every 2-3 years (we don't have a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink). I asked my mom about the quality of the service when the technician came. She said that the technician only drained ***some*** of the liquid sewage. There was no poking or agitating done to lift any of the harder sewage. The technician left some liquid and my mom asked why he wasn't draining everything. The technician said it's not necessary. Anyways, we called to see if anything could be done but all they offered was having someone come out again and being charged $646 again even though it's been less than a year. We called another company who sent detailed steps of what will be done to clean the septic tank. It includes agitating the contents in the tank, which sounds way more thorough than the simple pumping some of the liquid sewage that ClearRiver Environmental did. Don't waste your money with this company and hire one that does thorough work and doesn't try to keep charging you for their shoddy work. Also the account is under my mom's name, so if they comment saying they don't have record of my name in the system, that's why. They have my mom's name.
