It was clean, washers worked; I didn't need to use the change machine but it appeared to be in working order as others used it. Hopefully I won't need to go again soon (but you can do three loads of wash at a time, so that's a time saver!)

First time utilizing this particular laundromat. All of the washing machines are front loaders,…read morethey have two sizes - large and extra large. I had come to do some very large blankets and bedding materials so I use the extra large machines today. It cost $7 for a regular load, but it charges an extra $0.25 if you hit the hot water button which I did. Two things I thought were odd compared to my experience at other laundromats in the Baton Rouge area. One, they still use quarters. They do have a ATM machine there to get bills as well as a change machine that will change the bills into quarters. It just takes a while to get $7.25 worth of quarters into one machine, if you're running three machines like I did today that takes a little time. Guess I'm just used to using a card to operate machines like at other laundromats. The other thing I thought was odd was that the spin cycle in the front load extra large washers still left the clothes a little bit more damp that I am accustomed to. With that said, they were nice and hot when I removed from the washer and put them in the dryer. So paying the extra $0.25 for the hot cycle was well worth it, I know that it really sanitized my bedding. Even though the bedding was perhaps not as spun dry from the washer as I'm accustomed, I have to say they're dryers (which also look brand new) really do work well. I believe it was $1.25 for 20 minutes and I used a little bit more than that for each load. Now as to space, be prepared that there are only three folding tables available as well as only like six seats to sit down in. It is a small laundromat, even though the sign says they're open 24/7. From what I could see while I was waiting for my three loads was that they do A LOT of wash and fold business. Saw two ladies doing nothing but other people's clothes, folding and putting them in bags for pickup by the office. Several clients came by while I waited to pick up their clean clothes and everything seemed to be well done. Since they operate as a fluff and fold service, many of their machines both washers and dryers are actually being used by staff. When my wash loads were finished, there was only dryers available that they already had running for the staff. However three of them were recently emptied and still had time on them, and I was able to use up the few minutes left before having to put my own money in the dryers which turned out good for me in the end. All in all it is an extremely new laundromat with new equipment and everything is very clean there. I went in the early afternoon, I'm presuming that their sign is correct and that they really operate 24/7 with staff behind the counter. So if you need to do your own laundry very late at night I'd highly recommend it. If you're doing your laundry in the middle of the day, you may need to ask one of the ladies there to let you use one of their tables to fold your clothes. They were very accommodating to me when I visited today and very friendly. PS - The burger plus place next door is excellent for hamburgers.
