More recently, they did a great job installing two hot water heaters in my home, including a hybrid hot water heater. They did a great job installing the hot water heaters and the hybrid installation was a work of art. I was concerned about the latter as the technology was new but they showed amazing expertise and ability in the installation. What also is great is that the team are super friendly, super neat and always willing to educate me along the way.

Four years ago I was very satisfied after they installed 2 toilets and 13 water faucets in my house. I asked this time for a price quote to install a GE water filter underneath the kitchen sink. At first The old lady who answered the call, was rude, and did not want to help me. But after a brief chat She asked for me the for the brand name, when I told her it was GE filtration system that needed to be installed under the kitchen sink she still sounded clueless. She said she needed to send someone for $175 dollars visit fee to evaluate the job to be done. When finally she gave me a price quote; she said it would cost me $885 dollars for the new water filter installation. Bear in mind that I already bought the filtration small unit at Home Depot. The connection consist of two hoses. For that price I would rather watch a video in youtube and do it myself. The job should not take more than 20 minutes. This is the problem with plumbers nowadays, car mechanics and handy men alike in general. I feel like they just came out of prison and they are like predators; Just like judges, politicians, doctors are nowadays. When I look for a plumbing business I want to know how much he charges per hour? References? Experience? Reputation? Ethics and Moral character? and the way they treat the customer. I just did a google search on the state of Florida website and discovered that the new owner is Charles Barr and his license has been revoked since 2022 for failing to file a state report. The status of the business is inactive. Do a search for yourself at the State of Florida business corporation. I spoke with Rachel to set up the appt, but it ended up being more than just a quick conversation to schedule appt. We talked about the process of the lining, the repair, and we talked about kids and life, as well. It was like I knew her a very long time. I made the appt for the camera. While at the home after the camera inspection, Ryan told me there was a blockage and the camera did not go all the way through. It was as bad as I expected, and I was really nervous. The video was submitted to Dan. Dan called me and went through a thorough explanation of what they do and what needed to be done to repair and line the pipes. Their lack of quality control and accountability turned a straightforward shower installation into a loss of more than $10,000. They installed my shower valve incorrectly and closed the wall without catching the error, leaving my new shower inoperable and voiding the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer, a 3rd party licensed contractor and plumber all confirmed the incorrect installation and that proper testing should have caught the problem before the wall was tiled. When I requested progress photos and pressure-test documentation, none was provided. Because my matching tile size had been discontinued, reopening the wall required demolishing and rebuilding the shower enclosure. I paid another plumber and tile contractor $10,618.27 to correct their work and restore my shower. Despite repeated calls, texts, and emails, the company provided no repair plan or resolution. After nearly two months, the owner contacted me only after I called the company's insurance broker to file a claim. He argued that I had ordered the wrong valve--even though the manufacturer confirmed that I had not--and still offered no solution. When I said I would file a complaint with the Florida DBPR, he accused me of "defamation" and said he would "make sure this goes to court." A plumbing mistake is bad enough. Refusing to take responsibility and leaving a customer with more than $10,000 in damages is far worse.
