    Asada Tacos
    Lisa N.

I was craving street tacos and we found this taco truck. I asked someone nearby and they said it's a place they visit often, so we decided to try it out. They keep it simple by just giving you the tortilla and meat, but they have all the sides and you can add whatever you like. From my pictures you can see they are generous with their meat serving and after you add the toppings and hot sauce, it hits the spot.

Pretty average meal. Might have rated it higher if all of my tortillas didn't have holes in it. Kind of made them impossible to use to make chicken tacos. My shrimp taco was breaded, too, which wasn't specified on the menu. My bad on not checking. Nothing at all bad here but just not my favorite. Will try a different chicken spot next time.

    So good!!

Omg such a hidden gem. This place has amazing chicken and I love their sides. The spicy onions are so good and they make the best handmade tortillas with Mexican macaroni salad! A must try.

Good little spot. We just happened to drive by and turned back around to try it. We got a whole chicken and a quesabirria. Both were really good. The chicken has great seasoning flavor. Definitely a new spot for us

Came here for the first time yesterday after passing by here every day for several months at least. This establishment is actually a food truck with a trailer charcoal grill/ rotisserie. The people appeared to abide by safe food handling practices as far as I could see, the salsa bar was spotless and everything was perfectly fresh and tasty, we got a whole grilled chicken I thought was a bit expensive ($12) as it was less than a medium sized chicken ( can get an extra large at Sam's a few blocks away for $6) but it was very tasty, came with the salsa and tortillas. My only gripe was the lady taking orders spoke zero English, had to talk to ( I think her husband) to get my order across. I'll be back here again, maybe next time I'll order the chicken tacos and update this review

    Delicious!

Usually come here once a week to get the whole chicken plus rice, beans and don't forget the Mac salad worth it. Comes with tortillas and jalapeño. Do note it's probably better to pay cash since they do charge a $1 service fee for card. Also they have Apple Pay/tap to pay. If you're coming here I'd highly suggest to stick with the chicken as that is what is best here. We did attempt to try their burritos which I ordered an Al pastor and chicken which I'd give a 6.5 out of 10 as it was a bit bland and lacked in flavor. It was missing quite a bit of seasoning I'd say. So stick with the chicken it's great and better than pollo loco that's for sure.

My hubby and I were searching for lunch spot after the leaving the Gun Store just a couple doors down and as soon as we stepped out of the building we smelt this deliciousness! Quick, fresh and bomb ass tacos! My only regret is not trying the pollo or asada! But there Al Pastor was definately fire! We will be back for more!

Average Mexican food…read more My friends and I got hungry when walking down Fremont Street so we stopped by Tacos & Miches for a quick bite. It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and excellent service made the night special. Amanda went above and beyond with her customer service. She made sure our flowers and balloons were delivered and beautifully arranged on our table waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more memorable. Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

This place may be a small tavern-style spot with just enough seating, but don't let the size fool you. The moment you walk in, the aroma of the birria comes rolling out of the kitchen like a raging bull--it lets you know you're in the right place! They offer both goat and beef birria, and the flavor is absolutely incredible. I've only been eating birria for about five years, but in that time I've made it a mission to try it everywhere I travel. I've had birria from Las Vegas, California, Nebraska, Florida, and Texas, and I can honestly say Birria Bite is hands down the best I've had. I always order the Quesabirria Combo, and it never disappoints. The consommé is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--good enough to sip on by itself. And even though it's outside my normal diet, I can't leave without getting the Piña pineapple drink. It's sweet, refreshing, and absolutely fire. The hospitality is always A1, the staff makes you feel welcome every visit, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. This is one of those hidden gems you'll keep coming back to. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. Don't meet me there... beat me there... or be square!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
