Asada Taco, Pollo Taco
Ebony R.

Went back to try the Asada tacos and also got another Pollo to see if it was just that day. The Asada tacos were really good! You can taste the quality of the meat and it was well seasoned. The Pollo still didn't do it for me. Glad I went back and tried rhetorical Asada tacos though!

Dry chicken, hard pieces of meat, piece of bone found in taco

Went to the one on Tropicana /Maryland. This one use to be off Topaz and was the bomb! This go around, (around 2 pm, July 4th) we got chicken tacos. The chicken was so dry, bits of chewy fat and even a bone in one of the tacos). Chicken used to be fresh and tender...don't know what happened, but I'm sad.

Chicken street tacos , Carne asada street taco without salsa

Honestly, I have been wanting to try these tacos for a really long time. So I was driving by and there were about five cars parked in the tire repair shop so I pulled in order two chicken tacos and one Carne Asada taco and waited in the wind!!!! Got my tacos....Put my salsa on and was so damn mad how nasty these tacos was!!!!! Shitttt I should have gone home and boil some hotdogs or something.

"Fake grilled chicken"

I used to eat here back in 2018-2019. I remember that their tacos were good. Ordered 14 tacos for myself and coworkers. The carne Asada tacos were meatless to say the least. The chicken tacos were the worst I've had. They weren't even grilled! Not fresh. I called very disappointed as I am from Sinaloa and these tacos were offensive. The chicken tacos also had little meat on them and apparently they were cooked Inside the food truck. Not grilled. It was tasteless. They said that's how they do their tacos and they only use the grilled chicken when they run out of the stove top chicken. I'm overall disappointed. Their meatless asada tacos are about $2.66 each. Chicken tacos $1.50. Their guacamole sauce is t really guacamole. Latinos know what I'm talking about. They did replace my tacos with the grilled chicken. I'm still not impressed. The only thing I liked was the pickled onions with habanero. I hate to say this but we're not going back. See pictures for the difference in chicken.

Very Happy with the Service & the Tacos we got 40 Tacos 15 Pastor & 25 Asada. The Face of the Dude when I said we want 40 Tacos was Priceless & we're very Satisfied & Full We're definitely gonna come back & knowing that they're open until 1am 7 days a week

Yes!!!!!! Finally, a decent Mexican food spot were I can grab a quick bite during lunch. I must say I have never had a burrito with macaroni salad inside. This I can say was the first time and will not be my last. It must be a Sinaloa thing. The chicken was really good. It was seasoned well and to top it off the red salsa was great. They had fresh pico de gallo and onions with habanero chili, great toping options. Also order a real carne asada taco. What can I say, I will definitely come back to try other menu items.

Average Mexican food…read more My friends and I got hungry when walking down Fremont Street so we stopped by Tacos & Miches for a quick bite. It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

Hands down one of my favorite and most affordable taco spots!…read more It's located next to a busy plaza so parking can be quite difficult They're open daily 10am-2pm. Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

We spoke for a bit and he had a nice table set up for us right at opening. We enjoyed their brunch service for 6. It was dish after dish of foods that were wonderful and we finished it off with churros and chocolate mousse. Very good food presented very professionally. That and a few drinks made for a great Saturday the 25th. If I were to make any criticism it was the music was way too loud. Blade twice went to turn it down but somebody else in the staff kept turning it up to what even seemed to be Blades frustration. Made it a little difficult to have a comfortable conversation. Maybe at night when the atmosphere is not nice dining and more bar club the music should be that loud. Regardless we had a wonderful meal and a nice experience even if we had to speak loudly to each other. Blade the server was a huge part of the overall experience.

I had shrimp al mojo and it was delicious! The shrimp was covered in a garlic sauce and they expertly recommended I add rice with it. The rice paired perfectly with the dish. When they called my name, I went to the counter and notice that they got my order wrong...they gave me a pollo asado taco, instead of a pollo asado burrito with cheese. I swear I had told the lady that took my order that I wanted a pollo asado burrito, but perhaps I was wrong, or perhaps she was mistaken with what I ordered. Either way, I am not one to make a fuss, as restaurant workers already work hard (especially the workers at this place), so their ears didn't need a brat like me to give them an earful about getting my order wrong during peak lunch hours. Anyways, I pointed out the mistake, and mentioned if I can order a pollo asado burrito. An older gentleman (who appeared to be the owner/manager/someone important) working behind the counter said don't worry about it...he'll make the burrito and call my name when it's ready. I thanked them profusely, went back to my seat and didn't even finish my al pastor taco, because they had called my name in less than a minute. WOW! That's customer service right there! I wouldn't even put The Taco Stand on the top of my list of best mexican food in Vegas, even though their food is pretty damn good, but with customer service like this, they've made the jump on my list, and I'll be returning to eat there more often!
