Years back I used to love Pollo Regio, specially the tostada Siberia but then they started giving old tostadas and the bare minimum guacamole and chicken and stopped going there. Today I gave it a try once again and told my concern to the cashier Alessandra, she was so nice and made sure my tostada was fresh and well done, she was so nice. A friend of mine suggested this restaurant. We went on a Sunday and it was very busy, which is a good sign where food is good. I ordered the half chicken plate. It came with the leg, thigh, breast on the bone, some tortillas, two sides (rice and beans) and a big roasted onion. The chicken was definitely the star, it was perfectly grilled, juicy and flavorful. The rice was okay, a little bit dried for my taste. The text-mex beans were bland and overcooked. They should have another side to choose from. I did enjoy their variety of salsas and pico de gallo. It complimented the meal just fine. The downside was the small and dirty dine-in restaurant.
