They make it too easy ;) They have such a great selection of pre-cut trees, I always find a perfect one within minutes. They have a large selection to choose from. They also have a few spots for u-cut trees, one close to the parking lot and the others a bit farther out. But I haven't tried those yet. Their location is very easy to get to and parking is easy in their spacious lot. Service is always very friendly and helpful. They wrap the tree, trim the trunk, carry it to the car, and even offered to tie it down for me. A terrific experience overall and great source of beautiful trees!

A quick glimpse of a few trees by the entrance caught our attention, and we looked forward to this year's seasonal opening. The U-cut trees were priced per foot with free bailing. They provided saws and carts. The grounds were well maintained. The trees were organized by fir varieties that included Noble, Nordmann, Grand, and Douglas. The 5 star staff explained the farm's layout as first timers here. Choosing the perfect one can get overwhelming since there were so many to choose from. They were very helpful and explained the difference between each fir to help guide our selection. We got a Douglas Fir because we liked the full coverage that would complement our ornaments. The smell of the freshly cut tree filled our house with a signature holiday aroma. We liked our experience so much that we plan to return next year.

Prices were good, and the trees were nicely shaped. I didn't see many 8 ft+ trees, but there was a great selection for up to 7 ft. The grounds were a little muddy, and the trees were on a hill, but the trees were all planted in neat rows that made it easy to walk around and eye the trees from every angle. Once we picked our tree, we flagged down someone with a chainsaw, and they cut it down for us. The farm has a shaker and baler as well, and once our tree was prepped, it was loaded into our truck for us. It looked like the place was cash only, but there was a sign stating that they took checks as well.

The location is easy to get to but be careful because the road you turn on to get to their farm is kind of small. There is a sign that says it's coming up 500 ft away so you do get alerted! Once you park on their driveway, walk up to their farm and pick your tree amongst the rows and rows of beautiful Noble or Douglas Firs which are either $30 or $40. Once you choose the one you want to take home, flag someone down by waving your hands in the air and they'll come your way with a chainsaw and cut it down for you and also tie it to your car. Couldn't have been more easier and I'll definitely be back next year!

And it is amazing quality. It is upick\ucut with materials provided, but the nice people working (I only caught one guys name that was Dan, but they were all very helpful) offered to help if needed! After we found our tree they shook, wrapped and put it on my small little car for me. ALSO a bonus, they have the cutest little gift shop with signs, candles, ornaments and much more. I've been coming to Helvetia Lavender Farm for years and have always loved it, but sadly, it's gone…read moredownhill. I was especially looking forward to the lavender lemonade, it's always been my favorite, but this year it didn't taste like lavender at all. I checked the bottle and saw it was expired (July 2023). When I mentioned it to the staff, they initially told me I was wrong and said it was just mislabeled. But after checking the other bottles, they realized all of them were expired. They even tasted it themselves and admitted it didn't have the lavender flavor it should. The biggest issue was that they just kept selling the expired bottles to other customers. I appreciate that they eventually acknowledged the issue, but I was disappointed with how it was handled and with the overall decline in quality this season. I hope they can get back to the standard they used to have, but for now, I won't be returning.

Nice range of sizes, tho nothing too tall (which is not what I was looking for, so could have been blinded to that) Prices were as advertised online -- $45 for Doug Fir (of which we saw maybe two scrawny specimens) and $60 for the others. Of any size. Plus $5 to bale it up, but their machine did get it nice and compact. What really irked me was that none of the guys working there knew anything about the trees. Couldn't identify the species for us. Didn't get a chance to experience any of the extras like Santa or whatever they might've been selling under their tent, which, again and like the big big trees, was not our reason for the visit.

Got the tree home and it was the pokiest tree I've ever felt in my life. Ouch, ouch, ouch! That was all that was heard while decorating it. By the time I was done with the lights I had tiny scrapes all over my arms. And then there was the shedding. Every single day I had to clean up needles. It's been gone for weeks and I've just accepted they have become a part of my house because they're still everywhere. I'm not sure if they had cut it a while ago and it was just so dead by the time it got to us or WHAT happened here, but it was really awful. $75 to get cut up arms and sweeping under it every single day??? The reindeer are cool but I'm not sure we'll come back again.

Due to the pandemic, we needed to make a timed reservation in advance, which was great to ensure that it wouldn't be crazy crowded. $10 for the car, which I feel is reasonable. Upon arrival, we checked in at registration with staff who were super helpful and friendly. We then visited with Santa and Mrs. Clause. And we got complimentary hot chocolate, cider, and mochas. Then we hopped on the wagon where a tractor drove us down the lane to a spot with lots of great noble firs - we found one that was exactly the height we needed. All we had to do was cut it down and then drag it a short distance to a drop-off spot where it would be picked up and brought to the front for us. We hopped back on the wagon, went back to the front for more hot chocolate, then we met with our baled tree and paid. Staff helped us put it on our car. All in all, this place was a well-oiled machine of efficiency and our kids had a great time. We will definitely come back again next year.
