Little did I know that this place really doesn't have the equipment to provide the service requested. Instead he just used a phone and "tried" to program the keys. Knowing he didn't have the proper equipment to provide a programming service. But yet he had absolutely no problem charging me the full price. He knew it was beyond his capability. (Originally written for the BBB) Searching for people to work on one's home is a dicey business…read more When it was clear we needed a roof replacement for our Waterloo, Iowa house, like most people, I went to the Internet and did a (Google) search. My goal was to get at least three estimates for our house and optionally the non-attached garage. Several of the companies I contacted, using their "contact us" link, never responded. One company has an entirely different business name than the one listed in the search. Eventually, I got three estimates. Some people get all excited about the shingle brand and the length of the warranty and, realistically, many will never be living in the house by the time to so-called warranty expires. I was more concerned with price and reliability. Of my three estimates, Robert came in considerable lower--house and garage lower than just house alone in the other estimates. We asked him to do our roof, and since we were to be gone back East for several months, he worked us in when another customer asked for a delay. In the midst of our work, an unexpected thing happened. The found the the main/older part of the house has cedar shakes under asphalt shingle--something which should not have been done. Robert generously did not charge us for the additional labor for removal of the shake and the installation of the required sheeting (which we paid for naturally). His crew was meticulous in trying to minimize the mess and routinely cleaning the falling debris. They were quick, dedicated, and exhibited a high level of workmanship. It was a pleasure to have them do our roof and we would highly recommend them.

Not only was I embarrassed, but because of the emergency I needed to leave town immediately. Overhead door sent a serviceman the same day who fixed my door and not only got it closed for house security but also got it working so that it would go up and down so that the people staying and pet sitting could actually use the door and the garage! I was beyond pleased and amazed that they could fix it that fast! When I get home from my out-of-town emergency, I am contacting them and I'm going to get my garage doors replaced and upgraded. But I had to say something about the emergency service because it was over and above and if I could give 10 stars I would.!!!! This is the second time in the last decade that they have come to our house and an emergency service that went over and above expectations!!!
