We stopped by Politos with a group of 14 hungry hockey fans from the nearby Greenheck Field House. We were between games, so we needed a quick lunch. Politos definitely served! We were in, fed, and out in no time. My family ordered 2 different combo meals. One combo option included a slice of pizza and a soda. The other option was 2 slices of pizza, an order of garlic knots, and 2 sodas. Combos are definitely the way to go! Politos had huge slices ready to go. And, the options met everyone's taste. There were simple cheese, cheese and sausage, and cheese and pepperoni choices. And, there were options for those with a fancier palate - supreme, macaroni and cheese, spinach feta, etc. Be sure your order includes garlic knots. They are delicious and come with several sauce options - garlic butter, marinara, cheese, etc. We also noticed a few beer options as well as bottled specialty sodas. We'll definitely try those on our next stop! read more

This place reminds me of a favorite pizza spot in Seattle, Pagli....that's a good thing! Just went with classic pepperoni, well done and an order of Wings. If you at all value not getting COVID or being respected as a person, you should look elsewhere for pizza. To be fair, I do really like Politos pizza, and I'm sad I no longer feel comfortable to pop in there for takeout. Strike 1, they have no mask policy, even for people waiting in line. When I stopped in juts now, not a single customer in line besides myself was wearing a mask. When I politely asked if one man would step back and give me more space since he wasn't wearing a mask, he launched into a rude diatribe about how I was the problem. When I asked the employee about their masking policy, he also responded rudely to me and indicated they did not. Strike 2, the restaurant was packed. So packed in fact that I had to shout my order and the employee kept leaning closer and closer to hear me. I ended up leaving with no pizza because they didn't have any of the flavors I was interested in, and I surely wasn't going to wait around for them to make one given the unsafe conditions. I also noticed that since COVID started, Politos has disabled the option to leave a review on their facebook page, so don't be fooled by the high ratings on there. It is not a safe place to enter. At a time when we all need to do our part, Politos is failing miserably by propagating the norm that going without a mask in public is acceptable behavior. read more

Politos is the perfect place to go if you need a slice of pizza. They have many varieties. I enjoyed a basic margarita pizza and took home a slice of pepperoni and sausage for my hubby. Not our go to favorite place but a great place to stop pick up a slice and go. Located near the junior high and high school and football field. Location is perfect for that! read more

I'm in town for work and noticed this place was rated high on Yelp. I decided to stop by since who doesn't love a slice of New York style pizza? (Chicago deep dish is my favorite but I can love both types right?) I kept it simple with pepperoni and sausage. The crust has a nice chew to it and it was pliable so I could fold it easily. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff is friendly. If you're in the area you should stop by here if you enjoy New York style pizza the way it's supposed to be. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. The prices are out of this world cheap. They have a great selection of toppings and we also love the garlic knots and cinnamon knots. I guess most people who come here just order one of their large slices, but we ordered a whole pizza during their lunch rush and not only was it delicious, the service was exceptional and very fast. The staff is very friendly and clearly care about doing a great job. Even if the food hadn't been that great, I still would have been impressed with the way the place was running. Is it the greatest pizza ever? No. Two slices of pizza and a beer for $9 is all I have to say. We love Polito's Pizza! One huge slice is enough for a meal, but it's so good that we usually order two slices! Or we get one of their deserts. Polito's Pizza is a real Italian pizza with a bit of a "kick" to it. The pizzas are on the spicy side which is why we like it! Their set up in store is safe during this pandemic! A rope to keep people 6 feet from the counter, you swipe your own credit card, they sanitize every pen before you sign the receipt, hand sanitizers near the credit card machine and at the door. Every worker wears a mask correctly. They take COVID-19 seriously so if you go inside to order or do a pick up, you can feel safe. Every single employee I've encountered has been extremely polite and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about Polito's. We go there at least twice a month, sometimes more. The stores are locally owned which we like, and the pizza is so much better than the usual big chain pizza places. read more

Place is the best hands down for a big slice of pizza at lunch time, quick and simple, and many of ready made pizzas to choose from.

I ended up stopping by Polito's with a sports team after a match to grab some food. It was very late at night, and the restaurant had just one other customer. Even though we were a large group, late at night, and some of us didn't really know what we wanted, the employees were very considerate and patient. Not to mention, the food was great! read more
