However, the experience of talking with the owner here and watching him make some of this unique candle art - it definitely felt more like a local experience. The candles that had the mountain scenes on them were really cool, and we found a unique one that made a perfect souvenir to take home. Lots of different colorations, and I appreciate the artistic/creative element of it all. I also liked that after you burn the candle, you can continue to enjoy the exterior design by popping in your own candle. I thought that prices were very affordable considering we were in Breckenridge. A nice hidden gem.

An upscale, all-stainless version of this same coffee maker retails for $185 but that's not the version being sold at the Village Gourmet. When you're driving in it feels like an alley but there are a few shops near it and you can park there to avoid street parking. When you come in you pick your vessel and get situated at the bar. From there you get a choice of 60 scents to include in your candle! They advise you to narrow it down to top 5-6 or so so they can help you mix the best scents for your candle. Once you've narrowed it down you smell the oils together and get guidance from the employees on what pairs best. Then based on the size of your vessel they will give you a measurement of how much to include in your mixture and voila! You have a uniquely made candle for your home. They also offer discounted refill programs if you bring back your empty candle vessel. I highly recommend checking this place out!
