Horrible customer service. Overpriced. They lost a customer for $35. This establishment keeps customers credit cards on file which is a breech of privacy. We recently bought a home in Vero. I used Polished 4x this year choosing this establishment due to convenience. They rarely were able to accommodate my schedule claiming they were booked, despite when I do attend my appointments their space is often empty of clients. They called me and asked if I could change my appointment this week and I (as the customer) accommodated their scheduling request although the change of time was cumbersome for me. The day of my appointment, I contacted Polished, and left a message that I would be late for my 12:30pm due to a meeting that I had that went overtime. Upon arrival at 1pm, Jacqueline at the front desk, claimed that because I was late, no one could accommodate me the entire day. The next day, my credit card notified me that POLISHED charged my credit card $35 for a manicure that I never received. Me: "Why did you charge my credit card $35 for a manicure when I was late and you could not accommodate my change in schedule?" Jacqueline answered the phone, "You were late, we cancelled your appointment. Our policy is that we will still charge you for the service if you are late." Me "I do not see this policy anywhere on your site. You did not tell me that you would bill my credit card when I was in your establishment and you denied me my manicure." Jacqueline refused to remove the $35 charge from my credit card. I called there while we were driving down from Illinois , requested three pedicures. One adult, one teen, one child. It was supposed to be a special surprise for my 11 year old who has been asking to go for a pedicure with her and my oldest daughter. I gave very specific instructions and the girl on the phone even repeated my appointment for 3 people back to me. She said the only opening was Thursday at 4:00 that they would be able to fit that request in. I reserved the appointment t. My girls and I took an Uber to the salon that cost me $20. We walked into the salon and the girl behind the counter said we were only booked for ONE pedicure!!!!! Instead of trying to accommodate , she just said there was no way they could do three and could only do one. So my special time with my girls was ruined. As a very busy family we have little quality time together and I just couldn't have been more disappointed. I wasn't going to chose only one of us to get a pedicure, so we had to leave and take ANOTHER $20 Uber to get back to where we are staying. Went to get my eyebrows waxed and told the worker I am sensitive and to put Vaseline on ahead of time before waxing. She said she didn't have any but she would make sure the wax was cool and burnt my entire face both eyebrows. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for 15 years and have never experienced such bad burns in my entire life. Then as I left I was guilted into tipping, and she tried to say maybe I had gotten sun that's why I was burnt so badly when she had just burnt my brows. Beware! read more

I had a dip on my nails and a regular pedicure from before. We told the people on the phone that my nails need to be soaked off for the manicure. They said no problem. They said they didn't do dip but they do gel. I was OK with that. When we showed up the girl who took us in told me that she didn't know I had a dip (with a look of disgust) and said that that was not something that they dealt with regularly and she said it would take too long to soak off and she wouldn't able to complete my service. I asked her why she couldn't just soak my nails during the pedicure and do the manicure afterwards. She said and I quote "we really only usually do natural nails here and sometimes will do gels but we don't do anything with drills or machines and we're not used to that. So if I can't get the nails to soak off during the time that your pedicure is occurring then I won't be able to finish your service. I'd rather just put the polish on over your existing nails because I have another appointment after you. ". I told her i wanted the service I was paying for and she said she "would try". She ended up being able to complete everything and did gel polish. That was two days ago. My nails are tearing and the polish is coming off in whole pieces and looks uneven on the nails remaining. All rough edges. Would never go here again #nail shaming The end result not good. read more

Though the technicians do good work the policies of this shop are ridiculous. Their 48 hour cancellation policy, which was never well articulated, forced me to pay for services not received. I brought in a group the day before my wedding for mani/pedis and some opted for one service or another rather than both. We asked if someone else could have the services in question but were then told that we were paying for their time, not the services. Um ... OK. Avoid this place for Pre-wedding pampering. This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to; one is better off getting their nails done in a mall. It's too bad because Polished was a nice place to go a couple years ago, but since then they have gone downhill. My technician used old nail polish and would not clean up the paint mistakes she made on my nails. As a result, eight of my nails chipped the next day. Also, Polished does not have a relaxing atmosphere because they blast the TV and tune it on reality shows... mostly for the technicians' boredom. I just want to get my nails done, relax, and enjoy my mani/pedi with nice, quiet music. Please, go somewhere else for your pampering! The prices they charge are ridiculously expensive for them being so bad. read more

When we checked out they told us our bill was $100. I called back after I realized it should have only been $35 each because when we reserved the pedis we just asked for two pedicures if you're going to assume someone doesn't want the basic pedicure then you need to ask and discuss pricing with them before you perform the service. I personally work at a spa myself as a spa coordinator and would NEVER assume someone is getting more than a basic pedicure without consulting with them first. When I called back she told me I was talking to the owner and when I told her I wanted to be refunded $30 she basically told me she couldn't do that because they performed the other pedicure on us and she doesn't know what to tell me. This is the worst customer service I have EVER encountered and will not be referring anyone here anymore. read more

I love this place, I come for pedicures when I am in town. The salon is always immaculate and the service very friendly. Yes it's more expensive than the 25 minute, fast food style pedicures you get for half the price, but this is a much more enjoyable experience! They also have a small hair salon and sell various products such as shampoo, soaps, nail care, etc. you can also head one block west to it's sister salon/spa, Pampered Life. read more

Worst experience ever! Went in for a brow tint and eyelash tint. $55 plus $10 tip, and the tint washed out the next day. Even worse was that they are not clean. I ended up with a rash on my eyebrows. I wish I had of read the reviews before going there. Don't mind throwing away the money. Just so upset about getting a rash from them. read more

Seemed like a nice place. The ladies were nice. But it took 3 hours for me to get a gel manicure AND was way overpriced. I thought it was okay at first because my nails looked good, but the next day they started breaking! Two days later and all but two have chipped/broke off. I am very angry. They aren't breaking because I am being rough, they are breaking doing every day activities such as itching my leg and opening a door. Very disappointed. NOT worth the money at all. read more

This review is for Polished. Visiting from California and Went for a brow tint and wax to shape. I was very specific and had 2 conversations with a very nice manager. She was very professional or so I thought. Things went wrong when I meet the technician Eleanor or Leanora. Lots and lots of attitude. She said she would do a "clean-up" and I said twice I needed my brows shaped. I told her I didn't want them too thin and that seems to be the source of the problem. She waxed and showed them to me. My brows were EXACTLY the same shape as before. She informed me I said I only wanted a cleanup. I said I never used those words ever from the first phone call to make the appt. the tail of one brow is longer than the other. She asked me "what do you want me to do about it". Huh???Maybe fix it? she actually RAISED HER VOICE TO ME. She informed me she was done and I could go. I said I had wax on my brows and she reluctantly but roughly wiped off the wax. I told the formerly very nice manager that this was a bad salon experience and she said "every salon has their own way of doing things". So Polished's way is sloppy, uneven, rude and unprofessional. While I appreciated the ambiance and the lovely technician, the end product was inferior.The pedicure did not last and chipped within the first few days and the 2 week manicure was streaked and there were gaps in the application. For the price I likely go for the no ambiance place with a better end product for 1/2 the price. read more

First time in Polished for a pedicure with Megan. Megan did a wonderful job! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!! For a soak off, gel manicure- $55 and that's not including the tip! It was a quality gel polish but barely rubbed lotion on my arms and was Done... Cold atmostophere but beautifully decorated. There were 6 spots for manicures and 4 spots empty. Another woman getting manicure at same time and we sit crammed next to her. I asked why and the nail tech said "the other stations weren't cleaned up and I'm not cleaning up after someone else." ok....... And we listened to Loud country music the whole time- Not very Spa-like! read more
