I requested dip nails and instead got acrylic. When she started doing my nails i noticed right away and kindly told her, "I'm sorry, but I would like dip nails not acrylic. But if you don't offer dip then I would prefer to get gel nails." She answered me with "yes dip and acrylic are the same" and I said "I thought dip nails, you actually dip the nail in powder" and she kept saying "yes im doing dip." As I'm literally watching her do acrylic. On top of it all they are very thick and didn't file them down. My sister warned me but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. The first thing you'll notice is little, to no, smell of chemicals. The shop is bright and clean and set up well. This is also the only nail place in Sebastian that treats my daughter like any other customer. She's only 4, but very well-behaved, and they never even batted an eye when she sat down for a manicure. All of the staff is super accommodating and are honest in what their specialty is. I walked in and Marie had a cancellation, so I was able to get a gel manicure. When I asked about getting a design, she admitted that her sister does a much better job at those (instead of just doing something subpar). While there, a woman walked in (no appointment) and instead of trying to squeeze her into their busy salon, they gave her a later time that would be better. She stormed out, saying, "well, I thought you took walk-ins." They do, but when the rest of the clients are there with appointments, you'll not be able to get in quickly. But I digress. At the end of my time, I made appointments for pedicures (because appointments are recommended), for me and my daughter. Again, Marie asked about me getting a design and I said I would probably want them. So, she made sure to schedule me with her sister. Got a dip manicure done with an old dip manicure that had to be removed first. The technician only used a drill to shave down the manicure which he did to the pking of discomfort and did not even remove all of the color before adding the new dip color that did not cover the old dip color that he did not fully remove. One of the worst manicures I've ever had. The salon has it posted that they do not do refunds and clients can instead come back for repeat service in 3 days. Not interested in going back for repeat poor quality work. Do not recommend. read more

Not great. Had to ask him to cut off the dead skin around my nails before he painted. Had to ask to repaint my big toe because there was a huge chunk of polish on it. When I got home, I noticed there other toe also had a chunk on it and the rest were poorly painted. I tried to add my own clear coat to see if it would help but I'm guessing this polish will peel off in a couple days. I can paint my nails way better. Go to a different salon. Thanks read more

I'm new to the area so I after reading a ton of reviews on local salons, this salon seemed worth a shot. My biggest criticism would be with sanitation and Covid processes. I think my manicurist sterilized the equipment? Though I don't know for sure. The lady techs wore masks and gloves but Johnny the owner did not, though we were separated by plexiglass. He seemed to do a thorough job and offered me a free nail design, a heart appliqué which I thought was nice, but he put it on sideways? which was a little disappointing. The price for my gel manicure was good. I think I would recommend this place with the caveat of be careful. If they were a little more careful with their sanitation procedures I would have rated them higher. No other complaints. Oh except the polish looked a little thick, indicative of age (older polish gets thick). read more

Apparently walk-ins are NOT welcomed. My mom and I tried to go here at 11am for pedicures and was told at least 5 different excuses why we couldn't be helped today. Was recommended we make an appointment for another day. Well that wasn't possible as we rarely get time off together. When I said this was our only day off was not even offered an appointment for today. Will NEVER try here again. Tried this salon out for the first time a few days ago, the owner was kind enough to get us in the same day. I had a family friend from San Francisco join me based on the reviews on Yelp. My friend needed a nail gel treatment, I opted for a basic manicure. The nail tech that did the gel treatment cut the cuticles so much that she drew blood and drilled down the original gel coating so much that the nails, after being gelled and polished, were so thin my friend had to cut her nails to the tips of her finger so they would not break. My experience was almost as bad, I dried my nails under the heat lamp but used the quick nail dry spray provided by the salon to quicken the process. The end result was that the new nail polish bubbled, when I got home I removed all the polish. To be fair the owner offered to repaint my nails. The end result is that I will not be returning to this salon. read more

Visiting Sebastian for the weekend and walked in for a couple of pedicures. Originally went to Shear Tranquility down the road and was referred to Envy Nailz instead. Defnitely says a lot about the quality of the salon if another salon recommends them! Anyway, even though we didn't have an appointment, Lee and his wife (family-owned business) were more than accommodating. During the hour that we were there, several people walked in and it was definitely busy, but we were taken care of with no problem. Very clean, large open space and great service.
