These "high price, high pressure tactics" mean one thing: GET A SECOND OPINION! There are many that can be honest and not take us for a high ridiculous cost for a repair. I suggest to look at reviews at honest customers. please do not be scammed for a new unit is only repairs were completed. To add injury to insult on my end: the two young men were rude and aggressive at the initial consultation. I had to finally get them to leave my place. shame on them. There are many honest companies. I do kitchens anyone to go through as I did. I was harassed, charge an expensive fee, the price of a new unit but (as said) for my unitI had in my place. one kind gentleman could not stop the over charging. if they replaced with a brand new unit (which they absolutely did not) I would not be writing this. My association has the key to the upstairs uni, this was not even required. it is for the cost they charged me ($7,000). Ladies especially (and even gentleman), get a second opinion. Arts Pluming is still in business after so many complaints. Let's be smart and get estimates and not allow this company to continue the harassment (as I received from the first two boys). He was very reasonable, showed up when he promised he would, and is quick with quotes, and communicating. The first project was leveling and securing my cement front steps. He did quality work. Then he installed cabinets and a new sink in my first and second floor kitchens. Once again excellent quality work. I scheduled additional cabinets installation, and some repairs of a door between rooms that came off track. He did electrical, plumbing, and cement work for me. All done very well and looked wonderful upon completion. Any hurdles that occurred he was able to provide a solution. I give Mohawk Valley Handyman Services the highest possible praise! That would make it false advertising. * end of update I'm not pleased with their handling of my project. The website shows pictures of a fence install. I contacted them to set up a quote and received two text messages. First to contact them to dis uss and then today telling me they don't handle fence installs. WTH?!?! They instead referred me to someone else. I'm not pleased that this was handled this way. I doubt very much that I'll ever use them given they can't even handle normal business communication properly.
