Quick and friendly service. The bowls are delicious. Make sure to ask for less sauce. I forgot, but my bowl was still yum. Since this was a week ago, I believe I ordered tuna and salmon with a mix of spring mix and sushi rice as the base. I usually pile on the toppings from there, but I can't recall the exact combo

So first I want to say I started coming here the day it opened as POKE POINT. Note that since I'm a regular they let me know that the name had to change because another poke place in an entirely different state trademarked the name Poke Point, so they had to change it immediately or risk litigation. I always like to wait a few months to see if they fall off, but this poke joint has stayed consistent thus far. In my area we went from having no poke nearby to 3 on the same street in 2019. Poke Falls is my fave of the 3 for these reasons: 1. The marinated tuna is real poke. Chopped fish without marination is not poke folks. 2. The calamari salad is off the chain. 3. They aren't overly expensive like the other 2 places on the same street. 4. Everything is fresh. 5. There are great toppings available and the sauces are tasty. 6. They serve my favorite childhood drink: Hawaiian Sun...a point knocked off for not having my all time favorite flavor, Passion Orange, however. I tend to make my own bowl, which is a variation of the Hawaiian Bowl. I NEVER do mayo in my bowls, so I rarely go for combos unless it is has absolutely everything I like, but mainly because I don't want the mistake of nastiness of mayo to ruin what should taste fresh. The sauces make these bowls delicious and I haven't found anyone making bowls that is stingy with the fish or toppings yet.

I am REALLY excited that a poké joint opened up so close to my house. Poké Point serves up custom, fast-casual poké. You can order rice and salad bowls, or sushi burritos. The workers were very nice and helpful while I looked over the menu. My fiancé and I decided to try this place because we received a coupon in the mail for 50% off a bowl, which they let us use towards a sushi burrito instead. I made a custom sushi burrito. The price depends on how many proteins you put in it. You get 2 proteins and as many mix-ins as you like. Premium mix-ins have an added cost, which is specified on the menu. The ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared. You have a choice of lots of sauces; I got spicy mayo and my fiancé got their Poké Point sauce, which was like a thick, sweetened soy sauce. I also ordered a milk tea. They didn't have all of the flavors advertised from the menu, so I changed my initial order. I got a Thai milk bubble tea. The tea wasn't too sweet, which I prefer, but the boba was over-cooked and mushy. I'd still order the boba tea again, though. It's nice having boba tea available so close to the house. The employees could use more training for smoother service, but they were very nice and with more customers, they can get better. I'll definitely be back for more soon.

This place is DELICIOUS!!!!!! It was my first time here and I'm super impressed with the quality of food and service! They have a huge variety of poké fish, toppings, smoothies and all sorts of awesomeness. The bowl servings are huge, the prices are awesome and I LOVE the fact that they offer a huge variety of sides at no extra cost, including the imitation crab. The only extra side is the avocado which is common. The pictures on the wall literally explain step by step how to build your own bowl, and the toppings that are at extra cost so that there is no confusion. The location is awesome and right in the plaza by all the stores like Publix, YouFit, but facing Hillsborough directly!! It's very cute and comfy inside with plenty of seating space. I could barley finish my bowl, so I did not have room for a smoothie, but the employee was so helpful and offered me a sample of their mango smoothie which was super refreshing and yum. At the moment, they also are offering 20% off for the grand opening which was nice too. I'm happy to see a reward program offered as well because I love Poké and eat a lot of it! I'm happy to say that I have officially found my FAV Poké place in Westchase! A MUST try!!! Highly recommend!

Tuna tasted like it wasn't fresh and bowl was overpriced for what you get. Probably won't be returning.

Spicy Salmon & Tuna Poke Bowl, Poke Falls Hawaiian, off Hillsborough / Tampa Road & Racetrack Road, Oldsmar / Westchase Area, Tampa Bay
    Brian M.

Poke Falls Hawaiian Restaurant, formerly known as Poke Point, is located off Hillsborough and Race Track Road in a Plaza next to Salad Station, Publix, Lowe's, Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell, Cuban Foodies, and Pizza Hut. Poke Falls serves 2 or 3 scoops of protein in a rice bowl, noodle bowl, salad, in a seaweed wrap with sushi rice. Poke Falls protein options include Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Shrimp, Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Calamari, & Tofu. I got a poke rice bowl with spicy Salmon, spicy tuna. I chose all mix-in ingredients which included Cucumber, carrots, sweet onion, cilantro, edamame, sweet corn, hijiki seaweed, & jalapenos. Next I chose all toppings which included Krab salad, seaweed salad, pickled ginger, Wasabi, masago, pineapple & mango. For the sauce, I chose Korean Red Chili, Spicy Ponzu, eel sauce, & yummy yummy sauce. I chose all crunch options which included sesame seeds, crispy onions, tempura flakes, wonton crisps, crushed cashew nuts, and shredded nori. The 2 scoop protein bowl was a large portion size and very filling. I was barely able to finish the bowl in 1 sitting. All the ingredients were fresh and the fish was well Marinated. The sauces were really tasty. Poke Falls management crudely taped a thin cloudy plastic garbage bag to the counter glass and onto the ceiling which went all the way around the kitchen and employee area to create a full quarantine area for the employees. These garbage bags cover half the restaurant and looked absolutely awful, obstructed views of the menus, seemed to be a bit of over-kill, and was certainly not the most welcoming for patrons of the establishment. Management needs to find a more professional approach for seperating employees from patrons besides garbage bags. It really cheapens the whole interior of the restaurant and the restaurant experience. There was only 1 table and nobody inside. This restaurant seems to be more of a to go place and not giving enough attention to detail for indoor or outdoor dining in the restaurant. If safety was really the restaurants concern, they would offer outside open air patio seating. I definitely can't recommend eating inside or bringing a date to this establishment. Management really needs to upgrade the interior furniture, light fixtures and feel of the place as it is currently below optimal.

Poke point has alot of kinks to work out. Understably that it is new and I took that into account. To me, the menu is a bit confusing. I picked a mix of spring mix and white rice. Not sire if the wrong size bowl was used but the two scoops of protein didn't come close to filling the bowl. Of course the extra toppings will assist with that. The poor kid behind the counter was brand spanking new. No problem, been there before. But the way the manager spoke to him made me uncomfortable. "I've told you that before" "omg ma'am you're still here, why is it taking so long" I'm not sure if the extra toppings are an additional charge. It doesn't state on the menu. Also, after paying I didnt see any chopsticks or utensils. I'm sure they're there just not accessible. I asked for spicy lime fish sauce on the side. That's not what I got. More of a sweet chili sauce. I'll give it another try in due time.

I love that it's has a good amount of seating. The décor is modern and clean. The Deerioca plushie cushions along the wall in the seating area are so cute. The drinks are unique. They also offer snacks such as crab rangoons and croffles. The service was pleasant & professional. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy on a summer weekday. The Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Crème Brûlée Milk Tea was delicious! Their signature Deerioca tapioca balls are sweeter (more sugar than honey) than ones I've had at other shops. The crème brûlée is mixed into the drink. Keep that in mind if you have issues with texture. It's more of a clumpy pudding texture than a whipped one. Not a bad thing, but some may not agree. The drink can be customized to your liking. On the other hand, I wasn't too impressed with the Matcha Croffle. The buttery taste that makes these croffles so good was totally nonexistent. I didn't even taste the matcha even though it was sprinkled on top. It's just my opinion, and nothing more. I'd skip the croffle next time, or try another flavor. Otherwise, it was okay for an average waffle. The subtle Harry Potter references are very cool. I've read that the owner is a big Harry Potter fan. Supposedly, the original name of the brand was "Diagon Alley" but was later shortened. If you look real closely at the logo, you'll see the "da" in it. It could stand for anything at this point. I don't know... maybe it's a coincidence that there is a deer in the logo that could be Harry's stag patronus. Either way, there is a definite reference even if it is subtle. It's kind of like finding a hidden Mickey, maybe? Just take a closer look at that boba cup the next time you're there. I'm looking forward to trying more of their unique drinks. It's the perfect stop while shopping at this outdoor mall in the summer heat.
