Everything was clean. The room came with a fully stocked kitchenette which is nice if you want to do some cooking but we ate out. No stove but there is a hot plate, dishwasher and refrigerator. It's nice to have a couch and TV separate from the bedroom. We golfed at The Legend and The Quarry. They were beautiful courses Fairways and greens were well maintained. Legend was a little less than 5100 from the forward tees which was very fair. Quarry was closer to 5200, so longer and much more narrow. Don't forget to look for the giant bear claw on The Legend. Lots of driving between some holes but enjoy the scenery while you are cruising. Great courses. I struggled to rate this. I loved the golf but the accommodations had some pros and cons. Lodging pros - separate bedroom and living area - kitchenette - close to everything we wanted to do - Two TVs Lodging cons - the shower water never got really hot to that end the jacuzzi in the room was never used because we couldn't get it hot enough to want to sit in it - separate rooms are nice but controlling the temp was hard as air conditioning was in bedroom but thermostat was in living room. There are fans to help but in the end the bedroom was usually very cold - the TV in the bedroom was hit or miss on displaying channels. - WiFi was hit or miss. - rooms are owned by individuals so it's like renting a vrbo. To that end, no housekeeping. Not sure if you could request it. We didn't stay long enough for it to be a major issue.

There were two holes where there was a small lake where there wasn't supposed to be a lake due to rain runoff and poor drainage but other than that, greens were smooth and rolled true, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Flowers throughout the course were lovely. We played the forward tees which was just under 5200 yards which is a good distance. It was a challenging course. The back nine especially, had a lot of swamps or fescue to hit around. I wasn't in the sand a lot but lost a few balls to woods and swamps. Carts had GPS which I like for yardage because I don't have a scope. Despite the cart-path-only directive, we played the front nine in about two hours and the back slightly longer than that. The course was packed. Mondays are reduced price days so lots of people taking advantage of that. They have a beautiful bar/restaurant facility. At the turn, they have a nice stand with hot and cold food and beverages. We found all staff to be friendly. Great experience.

From the moment we were picked up, this fantastic adventure began. The shuttle was awesome! The driver, Chris, was just awesome! He was friendly and funny and seriously kicked us off the right way. It felt like he was part of our group as he fit in so well! He toured us to the clubhouse and educated us on the property. There are two stunning homes that can be rented for groups or retreats while using the golf course. We are totally coming back to stay in one soon! We arrived at the club house and admired the course. It was meticulously maintained and the day was absolutely spectacular weather wise, so the course showed off with the incredible sunshine. What a nicely appointed course We walked into the facility and what a beautiful, and impressively done space the clubhouse and restaurant was! This would be a fantastic place for a fancy wedding or corporate event! The restaurant was fantastic! The service was seriously out of this world! We were treated like we were celebrities by the entire staff! We literally ordered every sandwich on the menu and had shared them all to vote on what we thought was our absolute favorites, the burnt ends, and pot roast melt were out of this world amazing!! The cheesesteak was also fantastic!! The restaurant is tastefully decorated, but I have to say, I loved that they had pull tabs as well!! I mean, who doesn't like some good pull tabs in Minnesota? Ha! Aaliyah was one of our servers and she took amazing care of us along with all the staff. After lunch, we had to make a visit to the pro shop, again, so impressed with the selection of items and the amazing service from the staff. Perhaps it was the high from the day or it could have been the sensational drinks at the bar, but the retail therapy was alive and well that day!! The greens are in great shape and the tee boxes are what you would expect from a par 3. 1 round was $7 and since we went on a Monday afternoon and people were more busy playing either 9 or 18 on their bigger course, we had this whole thing to ourselves, the entire time. That meant taking 3 or 4 drives per hole or practicing chipping on the green with multiple balls. Since their was a nice breeze, it kept the bugs down but I could see them being a problem. Will go back? Definitely. This place and Pitch-n-Putt in Pequot Lakes are both great places to go.

All in all, they probably can get away with mediocre customer service because they are the only bowling alley in town.
