They never would've if I didn't remind them. They said "I'll check how long it has" and then said 8 minutes, after it had already been 50 from the time I ordered. And I said I was yelled at for that game when I was a child, not an adult, which you would know if you read it. Very rude and unprofessional response and this is exactly why no one goes there anymore.

There were pine needles and rocks everywhere. The bar, bowling alley and arcade were clean and updated. We were served a drink right away, and played some arcade games. The attendant for the bowling alley was sitting and having a drink with his friend at the bar instead of attending to the counter. The games were really cool and updated. Everything is electronic. All in all, they probably can get away with mediocre customer service because they are the only bowling alley in town.

My mom and I stayed here a few weeks back for a long weekend and it was pretty awful…read more Let me start by saying that we've been coming here for about 20 years now every Summer, and it's slowly been going down hill, but this time was the absolute worst, and if they don't change, we will not be returning. I'll start by saying that the girl at the front desk wasn't welcoming at all. Which is fine, I can get over that. Next, after getting into our room, we tried turning the on the TV and it didn't work. Kind of a bummer, but new batteries from the front desk did the trick. So far though, not exactly a great experience. Then comes the worst part- our room looked pretty disgusting. The carpet feels like it's been saturated with carpet cleaner without being rinsed, so you feel a film on your feet. The light switch for the bathroom was straight up nasty- caked in dirt. The side of the air conditioner where it meets the carpet was black with splatters and drips from who-knows-what, and the carpet was torn in that corner and filled with dust. Above the bathroom mirror were dried drips from some sort of liquid. Pictures of all this are included in this post. With that being said, however, the beds seemed clean, which we were thankful for. Outside of the hotel room are two chairs- great! However the sidewalk where you walk and sit was cracked with gouging holes- easily a tripping hazard. And the ceiling above the door was bubbled and cracked and looked gross (also in attached pictures). So yeah, not really a paradise of a place. One last thing- we went up to the bar to get drinks and wanted to play foosball, which we didn't end up playing because turns out we need to PAY to use the balls. As if they weren't getting enough of our money already. It's not a big deal, but just kind of the principle of the thing. Considering what they charge to stay here in the summer, it needs extreme repairs. It's gotten pretty dumpy. We'll spend the extra couple bucks and stay somewhere nicer next time because it's worth it. ......just found out that they over charged us by $70, too. It just keeps getting better, doesn't it?

It also gave us unlimited golf which we took to the fullest extent. This package only lasted 3 hours and we made the most of it. They immediately kicked just the women off the course with very little regard to their inexperience or empathy for the situation. Very unprofessional and rude. This course holds a special place in my heart because this is where I learned to play. It's a very reasonably priced course $25 to walk. The layout includes some elevation change with generous fairways. Most holes are tree lined but only a bad shot will reach the treelike. The greens in my opinion are average sized for a small town course. The offer some undulation but not too difficult to read. They take good care of the greens as they tend to roll very nice. Some of the fairways are a bit bumpy with a cart. This can be a very busy course because a lot of people play here. I assume because of the value. If you want a nice golf experience this course can't be avoided on a trip to the iron range.

Everything was clean. The room came with a fully stocked kitchenette which is nice if you want to do some cooking but we ate out. No stove but there is a hot plate, dishwasher and refrigerator. It's nice to have a couch and TV separate from the bedroom. We golfed at The Legend and The Quarry. They were beautiful courses Fairways and greens were well maintained. Legend was a little less than 5100 from the forward tees which was very fair. Quarry was closer to 5200, so longer and much more narrow. Don't forget to look for the giant bear claw on The Legend. Lots of driving between some holes but enjoy the scenery while you are cruising. Great courses. I struggled to rate this. I loved the golf but the accommodations had some pros and cons. Lodging pros - separate bedroom and living area - kitchenette - close to everything we wanted to do - Two TVs Lodging cons - the shower water never got really hot to that end the jacuzzi in the room was never used because we couldn't get it hot enough to want to sit in it - separate rooms are nice but controlling the temp was hard as air conditioning was in bedroom but thermostat was in living room. There are fans to help but in the end the bedroom was usually very cold - the TV in the bedroom was hit or miss on displaying channels. - WiFi was hit or miss. - rooms are owned by individuals so it's like renting a vrbo. To that end, no housekeeping. Not sure if you could request it. We didn't stay long enough for it to be a major issue.
